I'm not sure if this place is still called 'All bar one' but the café Delicious can be very intermittent with their service and food.
The first time I had the best vegetarian breakfast with free range poached egg, with enormous mushrooms leak/ asparagus and toast, which was served beautifully.
The second time, I had a beef n' basil burger with chips which was terrible and filthy.
The beef was barely cooked on a low heat from frozen. Which gave it that watery pale taste, add that with basil, and too much butter/ BBQ sauce. 3 bites and I was done.
For $17 for a burger, I don't mind paying extra. BUT you'd better be on par with the quality.
The service of the 2nd visit was the reason I write this scathing review.
I'd order 2 coffees to go(takeaway) and the waitress brings it out in cups. A small error, right?.
But when the waitresses smartarse remark comes back 'Maybe you should have ordered it then' when I asked nicely to change it. Well of course that got me fired up.
A few angry words later the chef came out and solved the situation and apologised to us.
