I emailed to ask if a 2m surfboard could be taken and was told up to 9 foot was ok. On booking for my son, I advised that he had the board. Only when he arrived at the bus at the airport was he told there was an extra charge for the board. I rang them to complain that they should have notified us of the extra charge when accepting the fare, my mobile and my son's was supplied - very rude office boy hung up on me.

Living on the Peninsula it can be hard to drive to the airport - traffic in the city, petrol prices & many other things. I've used the bus service a few times and have never been dissapointed. The buses run on time, tickets are reasonably price the drivers are always friendly.

I have used this service quite a few times now and I've never been dissapointed.

The buses run on time, every time and the drivers are always friendly and courteous.

Prices are very reasonable and buses run frequently. I won't hesitate to use the FAPAS bus again and again.

If you live down on the penninsula then you know how hard it is to get to the airport without spending a fortune on petrol and then have to find parking to keep your car....hopefully safe! A taxi from Frankston to the airport is about $150 and that is 1 way. The best way is to beook a seat on the airport bus. Cheaper than car and parking costs and definitely cheaper than a cab it really is the best solution. Sit back and read a book while someone else does the driving.
