Paid $550 cash for wheelchair for my father - who didn't like it/want it, so I returned it the next day (still in original packaging). Despite paying cash, Brunswick East store refused to provide refund in cash, only EFT bank transfer - now I know why: it's been over a week and still no refund. EFT bank transfer should be immediate or next business day (depending on bank). Now aidacare ignoring my repeated contacts regarding the whereabouts of my $550 refund. DO NOT WASTE YOUR $ AT AIDACARE! THEY ARE SCAMMERS!

I took my elderly grandmother in to Aidacare in Brunswick East to purchase an electric recliner chair. We were in there for well over and hour and I cannot fault the service. The gentleman serving in the showroom was polite and attentative to our needs, making sure my grandmother tested every chair and found the one she was most comfortable. Once she found the one she loved, the transaction was smoothly finished. This company even offers a 5% discount for seniors! Credit card, cash or cheque is accepted and as my grandmother lives in Pascoe Vale and opted to take the chair from floor stoc, it was delivered the very same day! I would highly recommend Aidacare to all, even the service on the phoe the day before was fantastic customer service! Thanks Aidacare, we will be back for any future needs!

We went in to the showroom on a Friday afternoon in Oct 2010, needing a wheelchair for elderly friend. The older lady (unfortunately I didn't get her name) was quite dismissive and rude in regards to our needs. Basically she couldn't be bothered serving us and was only interested in finishing in an hour's time, as she mentioned to her co-worker. Unfortunately her wheelchair bound co-worker who was serving another customer had the same attitude. We took our business to Fisher Lane Mobility Pty Ltd at 26 Victoria Crescent Abbotsford (03) 9419 2250 who had a totally different attitude and where more than professionally accommodating. Fisher Lane Mobility is an amazing company right from their welcoming receptionist to their amazing helpful staff, which I will review separately.
