not what I expected, was expecting more of a traditional yoga stretch, but that did not matter, it was incredibly relaxing and meditative

I'm really glad for Social Living deals, if not, I wouldn't have had the opportunity to find out about the Agoy Wellbeing Centre. Even though it was my first intro session, it was a really lovely experience. I'm still relishing in the after effects, I feel centered, calm and happy. It's not a very physical exercise, more of a meditation, which is exactly what I needed.

I got the voucher for these classes on Scoupon, where it was advertised as "revitalising yoga". Having done classes of yoga and pilates before I was expecting something similar i.e. stretches and moves to strengthen and lengthen the body. This is not what I'd call yoga, it's a meditation / relaxation experience and if I was paying full price for all the classes I honestly would not be back. Saying that, I have really enjoyed the classes. You come out feeling so relaxed and refreshed and ready to face the world again. I am almost asleep by the end of the classes and I found that it helped my insomnia too. There are lots of blankets provided and I'd recommend getting a couple as it is quite cold in there sometimes. Overall it's a really nice way to relax but I was kind of annoyed having expected a typical yoga class based on what the offer said.

Approximate cost: $15.00

I've never tried Agoy yoga before this, but I am really enjoying it. It's a very gentle and refreshing practice; I walk out feeling far less grumpy and stressed than when I entered. The price I paid on Scoopon ($15 for 8 sessions plus other discounts if I continue) feels like I robbed a yoga studio!

Hi Kimberley,
The voucher just you the opportunity to experience Agoy for a good length of time to experience the results. I'm glad you enjoyed it! Also it isn't really a yoga practice - more of a metaphysical wellbeing practice...but what's more important than the definition is the benefit it gives your.

All the best,

Jason

For a first time yoga participant the experience was blissful. The pace and degree of difficulty of the yoga moves was targeted at the right level. After meditation my body was reluctant to come back to action. A truly relaxing personal experience where the outside world was shut out for 80 minutes; great start to the weekend. The instructor was friendly and clear. I recommend this service for beginners and those looking for a tranquil moment.

Yes anaa2, its a great way to hit that reset button and feel ready and refreshed for the next day. A bit like going on holiday without the effort and stress! See you in class.

I have an extremely stressful life and when I come away from Agoy I am so relaxed it is unbelievable. I actually manage to forget the world.

Yes, deba3, that holiday from the world to a place deep inside you where magic happens, is a gift and everyone's birthright.
