Advance Jewellers have cleaned, repaired and appraised many pieces for me over the last couple of years. Helen's always a pleasure to deal with and generally very prompt.

Fast turn around and lovely lady, however I took cufflinks in to be restored (polished, stones and links tightened), this work did not appear to have been undertaken.

After looking at the cufflinks at home, later that day, It was clear that work had not been undertaken, one of the stones was still loose, links still open and the metal (which they were unable to advise me what it was), not cleaned.
After a few hours of carefully cleaning them myself, the cufflinks have gone from looking like tarnished brass, to sparking gold.

I called to complain the following day, and while she offered to take them back and have another look at them, (not convenient given these are a gift and I live on the other side of town) she was dismissive of my displeasure with the service and having had to pay $50 for, effectively, nothing!

Popped in here to have a watch chain repaired and ended up with two gorgeous baby bracelets for gifts. This lovely little jewellers have some really gorgeous pieces for sale. They offer an old-fashioned service which is really lovely. Turnaround times on repairs are very quick too.
