This is our "go to" cafe after discovering it by chance one day driving past. The food & coffee is great & well priced. They serve breakfast all day & the food is well cooked & tasty. The staff are super friendly too. It's located in a quiet area with plenty of street parking. The casual vibe makes the place relaxing and inviting. It is also kid friendly too with lots of beautiful home baked sweets/cakes available. Last time we were there for brunch, there was a storm & we pretty much stayed close to closing time & at no stage did we feel pressured to leave at all unlike some places!! It turns out that another friend also claims that this is their "go to" cafe as well & we are both from the opposite parts of Sydney.

This is a consistently top class cafe. Food is good, reasonably priced, all customers treated with care and attention, particularly tots and young children. Even at its busiest, can always fit you in, and, contrary to one review, have never, in 5 years going there, had to wait 45 minutes for breakfast. A maximum would be 15 minutes, and usually quicker than that.

I give this rating with the proviso that you go when it is not busy. I have been taken their twice and found them quite pushed to get breakfast for two on the table in less than 45 minutes. However in saying this, the all day brekkie is a treat and fills the "POT" for the day with the sausages tomato bacon egg/s 2 sauces. I think for a bigger group the place is too small but outside can accommodate the prams and bits. I both like the position being away from the main drag of the shops but it is a corner position and I find this a bit intimidating with cars going so close to the tables although protected somewhat by garden plants. I think this place is appealing both food wise and because of the homey efforts of the family that run the place but when it is busy, be prepared to wait. $14 . for breakfast
