Went for a Christmas party with my volunteer grouplast night. Even though there were bread an butter plates - bread and butter never materialized. There was no choice for the main meal as there normally is, no vegetarian or fish, turkey and pork it was. Was slightly underwhelmed. Wouldn't they want to attract business after lockdown?

whent to the leighoak for the first time ever and a bit disappointed, there is a 2 tiered pricing one for members and one for non members, i dont think it was a rsl so cannot understand the need to tiered pricing, secondly the price of the drinks was very high in comparision to the local rsl and lastly felt the menu variety was very ordinary. went there with great expections but came away disappointed.

I belong to the R&R Club at this venue and have done over the past year and have had many meals here, usually lunch but the occasional evening meal. I go with my mother and two lady friends, also members, and enjoy the atmosphere here. A regular waitress is extremely nice and friendly, always with a smile and a nice word to say. The manageress & her assistant have made our acquaintance and we have had lots of chats and I found a book for them that had two photos of the venue's very early days of which they were grateful to borrow and copy the pictures as they had none that they knew of. The prices and quality of food as Senior's Meals is very much to our liking. As Club members we enjoy our free coffee and the occasional piece of cake left at the coffee bar from time to time for visitors. We would recommend this place to anyone and have done so. There is ample parking in the rear of the site.

Every Tuesday we go out for a pot and parma and Leighoak is always our fallback pub. Quality its pretty decent, servings are generous enough. Pot and parma for $15 on Mondays and Tuesdays. Senior citizens can also get a great 2 course deal for $12!
