So terrible. Tried to be positive but they butchered my hair and treated me like crap as they did it. I was sprayed with water all down my neck and back, and had treatment rubbed all down my shirt- inappropriate! Didn't ask what I wanted before they began, I asked for a trim, they bunched my hair into a pony tail and lopped off the end. I was crying in the chair researching somewhere to fix the damage before it was even half way through. DO NOT GO HERE!

Horrible experience. No customer service. They started dying my hair before asking what colour I wanted. Bad cut, worse blow-dry. They spoke in Spanish the entire time. If you can avoid it, go somewhere else.

Worst colour I've ever had. My hair looks terrible! I had no choice in my colour, she just started putting in foils. I still have a good 3cm of roots and the colour she put in has gone orange. The salon was dirty and cluttered, the staff were well into their 60's and had no interest in what I wanted. Off to find another hair dresser who can fix up this mess now! Very disappointed and angry!

BEWARE OF JOE BARDETTA. Worst hair cut of my life. Asked for a straight cut taking off about an inch of length - the woman cut layers into my hair all the way up the back of my head. It looks like I have a long mullet. When she finally showed me what she'd done and I asked her why, she said "it looks better". When I said it wasn;t what I'd asked for she replied "well it's what you've got aso no changing it now".

Staff were all in their early 60's I'd say and didn't speak much English.

Wasn't offered tea/coffee/water at all during the time.

Going there feels like going to an Italian Festa rather than a Hair Salon with great music, a very happy atmosphere &...having your hair done beautifully!
I loved all of it ...it felt like opening a Pandora Box just looking at all the incredible memorabilias covering the walls & the tables, great laughs & interesting conversations with the owners & the other clients, great coffee!

The staff were great and the lady knows about hair ..she did a fantastic job on mine and I looked fabulous when I came out Soooo HAPPY.My 18th is in 2 days and my friends like my hair

Purchased a voucher, needed to find a new hairdresser in the area. As others have said, classic old hairdresser, but they know what they're doing! Was a little unsure of how things would pan out, but the woman next to me had got the most gorgeous colour, so became much more relaxed about how mine would turn out. By the end, was so happy with result, quick, lovely service and and will be back again, excellent value for money.

In short, I have been going to Joe for some 35+ years now to get my hair cut.

Despite his ex-world champion hairdresser roots, he's also just a good old fashioned Italian barber who knows how to cut hair such that it looks good from day 1 through day (however long your next cut might be).

After dabbling around with other hairdressers, I've now decided that Joe Bardetta will be my go-to hairdresser. I bought a Groupon voucher to get foils and they did an absolutely wonderful job. I walked out with a lovely colour and gorgeous silky hair. What I appreciated most was that they used their heads and, with concern, they told me that they didn't want to over-process certain parts of my bleached hair and would prefer to only do the bits that looked healthy and needed lightening. Obviously, I was very happy with their suggestion. Seriously, having had some pretty shotty experiences at different hairdressers (i.e. a bad colouring job with a chemical cut!!!!!), I'm set on returning. See you guys soon!

The service was friendly and welcoming but the hair cut wasn't the best. It wasn't a quality salon cut and I probably wouldn't go back :( it was a Groupon purchase though so for what I paid it wasn't bad.
