Guitar World is one music store that bucks the trend. The service here is the best Ive received in any music store across Melbourne and indeed across Victoria. Whether that's because of high competition in the area, or some other reason i don't care, it's just a pleasure to have finally found a music store that i don't walk out of feeling like i shouldn't have gone in the first place. Primarily stocking Ibanez, the prices are very competitive indeed and the business also handles warranties, service and repair.

I first went to guitar world because i lived around the corner. i have since moved a good 45minute drive away and i still wont take my guitars anywhere else for setup and repair. excellent service.

as a novice guitar player, i visited half a dozen stores before purchasing my first guitar. the experience at most stores have been less than pleasurable, with snappy/pushy salespeople. guitar world was a whole different experience. it's run by 2 brothers (if i'm not wrong), and as soon as you step in, you feel like you're visiting friends. I had to return to the store a month after purchasing my guitar, coz a string broke - no drama with the re-stringing. also decided to purchase an electric tuner, the salesperson (one of the brothers i think) took his time demonstrating the different models, and even told me to pop back in anytime if i have issues. again, i felt looked after and comfortable enough to ask novice (silly) questions.

My experience at Guitar World is always great. Awesome service and a great range of guitar products, which is something that’s important to me as a customer. The prices are competitive and being a small business the attention is personal.
