Friends took me to The Grovedale Hotel for lunch. We ate in the beer garden, which was very pleasant. There was a good selection of meals. I chose the roast of the day special, and we were all amazed at how much food was on my plate! Great value for money.

PINCHme is a free sample site. I signed up before the official launch thinking it sounded great, but it has not lived up to that expectation. Everyday when I check the site there are new free samples, but they have already been claimed. They clearly have signed up more members than they can supply to. I have tried to deactivate my account, but can't find the link to do so. There are better sample sites out there.

Very disappointed after trying to do a simple exchange of sizes of a jumper in my lunch break. I was waiting in the register line for a long time as only two people served, then had to wait again while the exchange counter attendant chatted to her friend. I was late back from lunch, and so annoyed at yet another bad experience in this store.

Wishbone has a huge range of poultry products. From low fat flavored chicken sausages to gourmet meals that are ready to cook, hot chickens and even a lunch bar where you can buy cooked items to try before you buy. Probably the cheapest option for a hot lunch in Westfield Geelong! I love their products, and the staff are always friendly.

Kardinia Health offers a wide range of medical services. I use them for GP services, and physiotherapy. They also have a chemist and cafe on site. I have been very pleased with the service I get at Kardinia. They make the effort to get to know you personally, and most of the reception girls remember my name. I highly recommend the doctors and physiotherapist. I have been to many clinics, and I think this is the best!

We used a two for one coupon to do an evening ghost tour of the Geelong Gaol. Our guide was in costume, and was extremely entertaining. The tour itself was fascinating, and the guide provided us with lots of interesting information and fun stories about the gaol's past. Don't do it it if you are really scared of heights, as the tour takes you to the third level, and the the railings don't make you feel too secure! Also don't forget the insect repellant. A lot of the tour is outside the gaol, and I received plenty of mosquito bites by the end of it. I loved this tour so much, I would do it again!

I have recently had to get x-rays and an ultra sound done. Both times I was told to expect a wait before I booked, but I was given appointments virtually straight away both times. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful, and the actual procedures I had done were quick and thorough. I highly recommend them.

I LOVE The Book Depository! I was told about them from someone at my work, and I get all of my books through them now. The prices are the lowest I have found. Delivery is free, but it is from England, so don't expect same week delivery. They are pretty quick regardless. They are great at fixing problems too. I had a book go missing over Christmas, and they were very helpful.
