The appointment process

Booking an appointment at The Osteo Hub is easy. Contact us to start your journey towards wellness today.

  • The first step is to book an appointment. You can do this through our online booking system, calling us directly, or sending us an email.

After booking, you will be sent a short questionnaire to complete prior to your appointment.

  • Your first appointment includes a thorough clinical history of your presenting problem and a physical assessment.

You can sit back and relax during the remainder of the appointment while your therapist delivers hands-on treatment techniques such as soft tissue therapy, manipulation, stretching and dry needling.

  • During your first appointment your therapist will work with you to create your treatment and management plan. This will include your diagnosis, how long your condition will likely take to resolve, and any additional lifestyle and at-home strategies that will help you.

Your treatment plan will be emailed to you to keep.

  • Your therapist may prescribe you some strengthening and stretching exercise during your appointment. All of the exercises given in the early stages of your treatment are easy and able to be done at home with minimal equipment. All equipment needed for these exercises will be provided or available for purchase.

  • Depending on your condition and pain, you may need to see your therapist for some ongoing appointments. Most muscle, joint and bone conditions need a minimum of 4-5 appointments to resolve. Your therapist will outline how many expected appointments you will need in your treatment plan.

As you progress through your treatment plan, you may need to come in for future appointments less frequently.

  • Depending on your condition, we may recommend you to attend 1:1 Clinical Exercise appointments in our new gym.

Clinical exercise is important for strengthening weak muscle groups to assist with faster recovery and prevent further injury.

  • For those with long-term health conditions or injury, your therapist may recommend for you to attend maintenance treatments or exercise appointments. Maintenance appointments are implemented once a treatment plan has been completed and you wish to keep your body feeling great and to prevent further injury.

Maintenance appointments are recommended to be booked every few weeks.

Nice to meet you! My name is Brooke and I am a registered Osteopath and the Founder of The Osteo Hub.

Health and wellness is my passion in life, and education is my purpose. There is nothing that brings me greater joy than seeing my clients smash their health goals, whether that is being able to garden without pain, having more energy and strength to play with the kids, or returning to the Footy ground after injury.

My clients describe me as warm, empathic and a bundle of energy. I bring life and fun into our sessions to make healthcare feel safe, relaxed and judgement free.
