Dr Leandra Brady-Walker (Join the waiting list)
B HealthSci, B AppSci (Comp Med, Chiro), MClin Chiro, Network Chiropractor, Certified GAPS Practitioner, Certified Empath Practitioner. I have always had a curious nature. I've always looked for hidden meaning and quirky reasons for things (hello buzzfeed quiz!). It's why I chose Chiropractic over medicine, I knew that there was more to healing than what we could see with our eyes and test with processes. 10 years after graduating, after searching for more answers (studying GAPS nutrition, writing 2 books, running retreats, interstate speaking and becoming an empath practitioner) I found Network Spinal, the opposite side of the traditional Chiropractic coin. For me, it has been a complete game changer, not only improving my health but my entire perception of life. As someone who has always searched for more, I feel I am lucky to have found Network Spinal care and am so excited to help others find more from their lives. |
Dr Jacob Brady-Walker (Now Accepting New Patients)
B AppSci (Comp Med, Chiro), MClin Chiro, Network Chiropractor, SOT, Diversified (Manual adjusting) Leandra's better half! Practicing around the world since graduating from RMIT in 2008, I came home to Ballarat. I worked with one of my childhood chiropractors for the last four and a bit years and now it makes complete sense to join Leandra at Lumos. I use a mix of the 'old school' manual adjusting techniques for those that are after a bit of a 'click' as well as gentle techniques like SOT (Sacro Occipital Techinic), the Activator, and Network Spinal. I work with patients from just born right through to in their nineties. |
What is Network Spinal?
Network care (also called Network Spinal, Network Chiropractic or NSA) is the gentlest form of chiropractic. There is no cracking, no drops, no manipulation. Only very gentle and precise contacts are used. These contacts are on specific areas of the spine where the spinal cord attaches to the spine and where tension is stored. The gentle touches send powerful signals to your brain. The reptilian (stress) brain goes quiet and the higher (intelligent) brain is awakened. Your brain can then find the area of stored stress and tension in your body and release them, from the inside out, with no force or pushing from the outside.
In this way, Network care teaches your body to become more self correcting and able to cope with the stresses of modern life like poor posture, poor diet and emotional stress, that can accumulate in the body and become overwhelming, leading to symptoms such as pain, headaches, migraines and anxiety. During a session, you will find yourself naturally wanting to move, stretch or even cry or make noises. All of these are not only normal but exactly what we want to happen as your body learns how to release it's own stress and tension more effectively. Your body and mind will be brought into balance and relaxation. Your own powerful healing abilities will be activated. |
