Great place for lunch! Very large bakery with ample seating, which was lucky as it was very very busy! But they serve you quickly, they had 2 registers operating & only had to wait a few minutes to be served.

All the bakery usuals, pies, pasties, sandwiches, and lots of delicious cakes!

Hubby had a pie & said it was great, but he was devastated as they had no Ned Kelly pies left...

Kids had a vegemite s/w & I had a salad s/w which was really yum...

Prices were as expected..I paid about $30 for pie, 3 sandwiches, a slushie, iced coffee & a coke.

We would definitely come back here when we are in town next or visit one of their other bakeries in other towns.

We were visiting town & happened upon this shop. Love that it is an Australian company with Australian ingredients that are natural.
The sales lady was lovely... very helpful & knowledgeable & happy to give me advice & sample different products without being pushy or annoying.

I bought a hand cream & lip balm & love them both. But they have a large variety of products, soaps/washes, shampoos/conditioners & skin care.

The prices were very reasonable too.

I don't live in the Bendigo area but will go online & order products from them in the future :)

We had a blast at this gold mine! The tour was well worth the money and I would highly recommend doing it. Family ticket $78.50, adults $28.50, kids over 5 $15.

Our guide was Lynn & she was awesome! She called the kids "mini miners" and let them push buttons & do jobs for her. She was friendly, funny, informative & the kids (and adults) loved listening to her.

The kids loved getting on the miners hard hats, battery belts & head lamps. You go down the mine in a lift. The tour goes for about an hour & is easy walking, no steps, and it is wheelchair/pram accessible as it's all flat.

It was a very interesting tour & we'd do it again for sure! We loved seeing the drills & diggers working too, very loud!

Above ground there are things to do also, panning for gold, climbing up the poppet (tower/walkway) and museum.

The whole experience was fantastic & another must do in Bendigo.

What a great experience the talking trams are! It's a must do if you visit Bendigo! Especially for the kids.

The tickets were great value ($16 adult, $10 kids & family $47, kids under 5 free) & were valid for 2 days which was excellent, so you can hop on/off as much as you like for 2 days. There are 5 stops on the trip & it takes about 1/2 hour from 1 end to the other or 1 hour return trip.

The trams were running every half hour (as it was school holidays) so it was good to be able to hop off at a stop to have a look around & have regular trams to catch again & not be stranded for hours...

The trams have talking commentary about Bendigo & the history of the trams which was very informative & interesting, even our 7 y/o enjoyed listening to it.

The drivers & conductors were all friendly & helpful. And each of the 2 days had 2 different trams running, so we were able to hop on 4 different trams which the kids loved.

As I said, we would highly recommend the Bendigo Tramways! It was a great experience for the kids & adults!

We really enjoyed our visit. The building is beautiful...the pottery is expensive but you are paying for quality. It was nice wandering around just browsing.

The kids were offered a $4 clay pack which we bought them (just a take away container with a block of clay) & they sat down & made things, shapes etc...which they loved & filled in half an hour or so.

We loved looking through the antique stalls & found a rusty bargain for my garden in there! The lady in there was lovely & had a good chat to my hubby.

Then we had morning tea in the café which was very nice...kids had a biscuit & a baby chino each & we had a Devonshire tea....with a coffee & yummy big scones! The prices were average (think Devonshire tea was about $8)

We didn't visit any of the art galleries with 2 boisterous boys!

It was a good morning & I'd say pop in & have a look... it's free to have a wander & well worth the stop.

This review is for Bendigo Park Lane Holiday Park, Junortoun VIC

What a great short break we had! Our only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer!
We stayed in family 2 bedroom villa/cabin. Very spacious, large living room, kitchen, separate toilet to bathroom + 2 bedrooms + deck out front.

The cabin had everything you needed, loved the plastic plates, bowls + cups for kids...air-conditioning & even a tv in parents bedroom which was great!

The park is very large & heaps of stuff to entertain kids, big jumping pillow, pedal cart things, pool, spa, and playground

But best of all is a massive indoor playcentre! We couldn't believe our eyes, the kids LOVED it (and so did we)! And it was no charge if you are staying at the park! The playcentre is better than some I have paid to take the kids too!

The park was about 5 mins drive out of Bendigo but location was very quiet & there were shops & hotels/places to eat a few minutes down road.

Next time we will be booking in for longer!

This was our first visit & we loved it. Average price to get in...$23 for 2 kids (7 & 3) All the play equipment, tables floors & toilets were all in excellent & very clean condition.

Very large playcentre, ample seating for 50 or more I'd say...
Heaps of things for kids to do, jumping castles, slides, bikes/scooters, trampolines etc....toddlers area fenced in + baby section too, something for kids of any age.

We also purchased food + drink which was reasonably priced & very tasty. Good variety of healthy food (yoghurts, wraps, sandwiches) and the not so healthy! like chips, hot dogs, dim sims, wedges & nachos) We ordered the nachos, a bowl chips, vegemite sandwiches & a milkshake...it was all yum!

The service was very friendly & welcoming & they were quick to clear our table when we had finished.

Kids had a ball...we only saw them when they were thirsty or hungry from all the running around!

The centre is fully air conditioned which is a big plus!

We would happily come back & recommend!

Approximate cost: $12

Although I cannot comment on the quality of this companies work I can comment on the quotation process....I email for a quote to have our roof replaced...they were fast to book me in.
The guy showed up a few days later, he was nice & did all his measurements etc...

That was 3 weeks ago....no contact & no quote received. I rang them about 7 days after to follow up & the office lady told me that he hadn't been in the office to write up his quotes but would be done soon.

In the meantime I had another quote done, it was in my mailbox the next morning & we went with that company.

Maybe they didn't need the business!

I went in to see if I could update my usb internet connection to a wifi device. The really can't help, they ring the Telstra call centre as I could have done at home.

The lady was very uninterested in trying to help me. She rang the call centre & they had a very brief conversation...she said ok & hung up the phone.

There was no trying to negotiate a deal with them to get me an upgrade...she couldn't care less, she told me I'd have to pay out contract it would cost $X and left it at that, there was no offer of lets see what else we could do for you etc...

So I googled my problem & found a solution myself... a router.

I have been a Telstra customer for 10+ years & was really angry at the lack of caring or trying to help. Unfortunately after this experience I would rather go to the Telstra shop than Wolf.

We had an issue with our TV. Earl & Becker were the authorised repairer. The lady on the phone/ in the office was very helpful & friendly.

It was a very easy process to drop it off & pick up. Our TV was replace by the manufacturer within 10 days of dropping it off.

When I picked up the TV from Earl & Becker, the man kindly carried it out to car & made sure it was in a safe & sound spot to drive home and had a good chat to my kids too!

Great service :)
