This shop is amazing as is the lady that makes the cakes you can order from here. I had to make a Wiggles cake and this was the only place I found to buy proper red dye for icing. You can also hire tins or order a decorated cake of many varieties. While price is a little more expensive than some may be used to, it is worth it for the quality. Very talented.

I tried this place recently when over in Victoria. Can definitely say the snails are worth trying. Snails are never nice if not done properly but the texture and taste were wonderful. Have only had snails a couple of times in my life but these were by far the best I have tried.

The place to go with Christmas looming around the corner. Anything you could think of to serve is here and in bulk quantities. Their service is great and they are all willing to go the extra mile down there. I have always come out of there with exactly what I needed at a great price. Excellent for school breakfast programs or school camps. Need a life time supply of vegemite, then visit this store:) Good local business.

Excellent pizza. Have been visiting here for years for the odd dinner when we travel into Adelaide. The service is good, I would not say exceptional, but friendly enough. The atmosphere is nice and generally quite even when busy. Good value to take the children for all you can eat pizza and most certainly tastes better than commercial pizza chains. They also do a great selection of pasta dishes.

This shop is a little treasure that I have driven past for many years without even noticing. Don't bother with fast food restaurants. If you want to take the children somewhere quick and easy and provide them with a decent lunch, then visit this place. The staff are extremely friendly and don't mind waiting while your family takes ages to decide what they want!

I had to use this clinic as I was de-sexing a stray that had adopted us and was given a voucher for half the price of a normal surgery. The next time I find a stray cat, which happens regularly, I will choose to pay the full price and take the animal somewhere else. The operation was done well and the cat is already in recovery. The staff however leave a lot to be desired in the way of service. The staff member on the counter was extremely excitable and very unprofessional. The veterinarian himself lost his professionalism at one point after the receptionist interrupted him during a consult by complaining about me to him at the top of his voice. It was very surreal, perhaps it was the hot day, but for such a simple operation there seemed to be a lot of drama regarding proper communication which neither of them displayed. It was not their regular day for normal consultations so people may have a different level of service on those days. It did seem as though I was to me more grateful for getting a cheaper service than I felt I had to be. When there are so many vets offering the same qualifications and the same surgical procedures, customer service and friendliness is how I judge where to take my animals.

Had to take a litter of puppies here to be checked and vaccinated after our dog had an unplanned pregnancy and gave birth to seven puppies. Their prices are very reasonable, so reasonable that we chose to drive an extra 50ks to get there as opposed to picking a closer vet out in Murray Bridge. The service was great and I will be using them as my regular vet from now on.

Not my favourite of Hog's Breath Cafes. I love their food and the quality is generally consistent at every restaurant, I just found my dining experience at Glenelg to be disappointing. I have eaten there twice now and won't be returning. The atmosphere is just simply unfriendly and the service leaves a lot to be desired. The staff seem disinterested in doing their job but despite a busy restaurant, most of them seemed to find time to be chatting to other staff members. At one point, what appeared to be the owner, came in to get the staff to do their jobs, but then he disappeared with out serving any of the customers that were lined up at the till or at the bar. Seemed rather chaotic and hurried. Not the relaxing, family friendly experience I am used to at Hog's Breath.

This place certainly has changed since I was last there in my early twenties. Used to have a reputation as a bit of a rough place but it has certainly given itself a make over. The atmosphere was pleasant and the meals were good. The place has been renovated and spruced up and now looks like a nice place to have a meal or a drink. A bit sad that it has lost a little of it uniqueness, but at least you can sit and be relaxed here now. Service was friendly and the meals were delivered to us in a timely fashion. Would eat here again if I was in the area.

Absolutely the best value in Strathalbyn. My husband works a lot in this area and we have stopped in here a few times. We always fill up here when in the area. The price and staff service seem consistent and there was a good range of snacks to choose from.
