we popped in to this store the other day,we were hot and needed refreshments, they sell a small but vital amount of groceries and they have an ok take away, the drinks where cold and the service was not quite a1,but i would go back again
i love this time of year for 1 reason i can get those delicious xmas puddings, every year the uniting church and the "pudding ladies" have worked hard to prepare the world famous puddings, they caater for every bodies needs such as low fat and gluton free.the prices are very reasonable ranging from $17.00 for a small one and $60.00 for the largest pudding you have ever seen, they have a new one this year date puddings,so many to choice from it would be best to ring before hand as you can imagine they get very very busy
Approximate cost: $28.00
another organisation that have worked tirely thru out this extreme fire conditions,in situations like we have had every body helps as much as they can to safe the wild life, and there were plenty to save the poor little things,it is heart breaking but thank god for people like this, job well done thank you
another group off volunteers that do a sterling job, they have been extremely busy over the last 3 weeks with injured koalas, as they were not allowed to enter until it was safe every body risked there lives to help and assist as many as they could find, port stephens is well known for there koalas, and this group along with others made sure they would still be around for future generations job well done
it has been a very bad time in the hunter region in the past 3 weeks, bush fires as far as the eye can see,not only human loss but the wild life didnt stand a chance.this group of selfless individuals went in after the fires were nearly under control to save these poor burnt wild life many were lost but these people along with others saved a fair few and for that we will be eternally gratful
