What I love about this place is there is plenty of parking and you can do a quick reconnaissance of the shopping centre and usually pick up some terrific bargains. With plenty of shops to choose from like Jag, Esprit, Novo, Bendon, Jigsaw, bedding, footwear, etc. Recently revamped the centre with new outlets, even a Priceline! Great for Christmas shopping in a hurry.
This place is worth a visit even just for the heritage factor! What a lovely old pub with so much character. Apparently it's "Australia's oldest family owned hotel" and over 150 years old. Menu had plenty on offer & meals nice although a little exe.
Discovered this little place after the footy one evening. After filling up on snacks all arvo in the cold wet winter at the MCG, we jumped on a train into town for something light & healthy for dinner. Menu offered a variety of soups with complimentary bread. It's a bit squeezy sitting inside but cozy with character. The staff although busy could have been friendlier.
Went back last Sunday after a game because it was just what we felt like, but unfortunately it was closed. Went back again, this time on a Saturday arvo. Apparently they're open every day till 7:30ish. Highly recommend the minestrone.
Went to a beautiful wedding recently and was so impressed with Ken the celebrant, for making the day go so smoothly. He had a terrific manner and sense of humour that put us all at ease with such a special event. I recommend Ken for ceremonies and will definitely be using Ken for my own wedding when the big day arrives.
Took my daughter to have her eyebrows "professionally" done so she can maintain herself without making the mistake I did as a teenager & getting carried away resulting in skinny brows. It was quick, painless and a much better option on skin compared to waxing. Also they sell brow powder to perfectly match & complete your brows. Next time I'll get mine done.
Approximate cost: $20
Fantastic gym! Full facilities with assortment of classes to suit everyone. What I love most is the separate private ladies area. Great clean and modern environment, even a GHD in the ladies change rooms for complimentary use. I don't live in the area so I use a casual visits pass which is great value.
A great place for a casual dinner with family & friends. Modern and spacious with a decent menu mostly Italian offered. Servings are generous and service friendly. Pastas are very nice and cakes are tempting.
Always lovely dresses, tops an sweaters in this store. Prices are mostly quite reasonable. The service staff are very helpful too. Fashionable and classical styles to suit many tastes.
Went with my daughter to Glassons before Christmas and we were blown away with the beautiful clothing. So my sister gave my daughter a voucher for Christmas. Don't know what's happened since because we've been in there 3 times since and not been able to find anything nice or suitable. Hope they get some good stock before the voucher expires!
Very nice place to walk to on a Sunday for brunch. Lovely poached eggs on rye toast with smoked salmon, spinach & mushrooms. Have been there for afternoon tea which is nice too.
