Since we moved to the area we have been here a number of times. The food is always amazing and the service is exceptional. It has been a favourite restaurant of my brother and sister in law for many years and we feel privileged to have discovered it for ourselves. It is now our go to restaurant for special occasions and is great value for money.

We went here hoping for breakfast but had just missed out (their breakfast finishes at 11:30am) so we ended up trying the specials board for lunch. Sharon had the pasta ... lots of plump prawns cooked perfectly with sundried tomato, fresh tomato, feta and baby spinach (as they had run out of rocket) on fettucine. I had the burger of the day which was a homemade fish pattie on a bun with salad, tomato, cucumber, spanish onion and tartare sauce with fries on the side. The fries were delicious as was the burger ... if I was going to be picky I personally would have toasted the bun and served the fish as a battered fillet ... but that is just my opinion. The meals are massive ... I saw a chicken parmy go past and it could have easily fed a hungry couple or a not so hungry family of four!!! The coffees were good and the prices aren't too bad ... it was $43 for our lunch.

A great bulk-billing local doctor in Pakenham which looks after their patients. Great opening hours and a great bedside manner, this is one of the best bulk billing surgerys that I have been to.

We had been getting take away from here for a while and then we decided to eat in ... great service and great food. It's BYO so bring your own alcohol. Try the Birds Nest Combination ... it rocks.

When I moved to Bayswater a couple of months ago I was looking for a new Doctor. The doctors here are very caring and thorough which is a bit different for a Bulk Billing Practice.

I would highly recommend this practice as they really do look after you.

My partner and her parents and I went on the 2 hour Twofold Bay discovery tour which was a great way to get to know the waters around Eden. Full of interesting commentary with anecdotes about the surrounding features of Twofold Bay, this cruise is an introduction into the local history of the area.

We were lucky enough to have a beautiful day and flat seas for the tour and saw a penguin and a pod of local dolphins who kept us entertained for a while.

There is a lot of history in the area and the hosts, Rosalind and Gordon, have been taking tourists out for many, many years.

I would highly recommend Cat Balou and they provide an afternoon tea and drinks are also available (beer, wine and soft drinks). We were lucky with the weather we had this day and to see the wildlife and historic sites of the area was eye opening.

My partner and I had purchased a voucher through Living Social and went here for an All You Can Eat Yum Cha lunch which included House Beer, Wine and Soft Drink.

Being a Yum Cha officianado I was very impressed with the quality and variety of the food ... from Prawn Dumplings, Shao Mai, Rice Rolls, Pork Buns and Pork Ribs as well as the more traditional offerings like Congee and Chicken Feet.

The decor in the restaurant is amazing and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend Shanghai Dynasty to anyone who loves Yum Cha.

One piece of advice ... don't have breakfast and pace yourself ... you have a full two hours to enjoy!!! They have two sittings ... 11:30am and 1:30pm.

The house beer is Harbin ... a crisp, clean Chinese beer.

We had a lovely time and we are looking to take family and friends there again soon!

We've been to the Inkerman Hotel a few times on a Thursday night when they have buy one main meal get one free which offers great value. They have a good range of main meals available from steak to pasta and everything in between. Typical pub food, it is reasonable quality for a great price. Mains start at about $16 and go to about $23 but when you can get 2 for 1 it represents tremendous value. I have had the Pork Loin Chop and the Steak and they were both great, my partner in crime has had the Chicken Parmagiana and the Chicken Pasta and enjoyed both of those as well. It's a typical suburban pub with rowdy locals and regulars but the atmosphere is pretty good and you can normally get a table.

We had a fantastic tasting and lunch on a Saturday afternoon here. The Ploughman's Platter and a couple of lovely wines (Red for me and Champagne for my love) made it a sensational afternoon. We had a great afternoon and the somellier, whose name I can't recall, was amazing.

We went here on the way home from Eden to Melbourne and stumbled upon one of the best burger places I have ever been to. Mr George has been making burgers here for 30+ years.

Best burger that I have had in years and Sharon had the Souvlaki and loved it as well. The only disappointment was the chips ... I'm not sure whether the oil was old or the actual chips weren't up to scratch but they were not the best that I have had.

They have a wide variety of foods available cooked fresh to order and a wide range of drinks including home made milk shakes.

Would highly recommend the burgers though ... they are awesome!!!
