This ice-creamery is in the best location- right across from the beach.
They have a huge range of flavours to choose from which does make it hard but they let me try a couple before I made my decision.
The staff member could've been a little bit friendlier (it was like we interrupted her) but gave prompt service.

After walking around for a while to find somewhere for lunch, we came across this place.
Looks like a funky, chilled out place to sit back and have a few drinks-they have 20 boutique beers on tap, but we were only in for food.
They have a wide choice of pizzas, share plates, hot dogs plus lunch specials.
I went for the Peking Duck pizza and it was amazing, hubby was jealous. He ordered the soup of the day which was Peking duck soup- very delicious as well but as hubby was sick wasn't able to enjoy it too much.
Will definitely be back again when hubby is 100%, I want to try the Rocky Road Calzone.

Been here quite a few times as its close to home.
Last time was a bit dissappointed- it was a very busy night so I expected it to take a while to get the meals. A big menu to choose from but most of it is schnitzels with different toppers. Hubby and I both ordered a different schnitzel but when we got them all you could see is sauce, hard to distinguish what individual flavours.
Have to order and collect at the counter, but the meals are filling and you can usually find a shopper docket to get a discount on a 2nd meal.

A great experience.
Went in for an ultrasound. They were on time but I was early so had to wait for about 10 minutes.
The waiting room was comfortable with lots of seating, a TV to watch and a kids play corner with a selection of toys.
Staff were wonderful.
Not sure about parking as I caught the bus, but is across from Charlestown Square where you get the first 3 hours free.

So many icecreams to choose from, can usually try up to 3 to help make up your mind.
Icecream is always great quality and staff are always friendly, even when busy (which is often).
Great spot to get icecream, you can eat in or its even better to walk over the road to the waterfront.

We generally go here on their cheaper day (Monday).
A great range of gourmet and speciality pizzas, plus the classics as well.
Staff are friendly enough but service can be on the slow side, especially for drinks, we had to remind our waiter twice on our last occassion for them.

Went there for the 1st time recently with friends of ours to celebrate their son's birthday. Was extremely busy as it was a rainy Sunday.
Was told by the kitchen that there would be a wait as it was so busy, but that was fine.
Menu has a wide variety to keep everyone happy. From coffee and cake to a full meal.
Best to book a table as it can get busy.
P.s. from my hubby- don't go there with a hangover. lol

Been going to the antenatal clinic since the start of this pregnancy. Am high-risk so alot more appointments than normal.
Staff are amazing, go out of their way to answer all my questions and to try and keep me stress-free as much as possible.
Staff were also amazing last year during tragic circumstances and I don't have to keep repeating the story over and over as it is in my records.

Been going to this medical centre for a couple of years now and had mixed experiences.
As a walk-in, bulk-billing centre it can get busy so there can be a bit of a wait. Usually tends to be a bit better at teh start of the week with more doctors on.
You can choose from one of the doctors that are on that day or just go next available.
My wait's have been anywhere from 5 hours down to 15 minutes (barely had time to get myself settled before my name was getting called).
There have been a few doctors that I havent been too fond of (but you get that anywhere) and have since found one particular one that I like and go back to each time, but its also good that if he isnt there on a day that I need to see a doctor, then there are still others that I can see and they can easily bring up my medical files.
They also have pathology, xray, dental, physiotherapists and dieticians at the same centre.
