Serve one of the best vietnamese beef pho in town. Good in value, it's a big bowl and cost only $8.50. And they are pretty generous with the bean sprouts and mint leaves.
we have tried the vietnamese beef noodles soup. overall, not bad. one of the good-to-try beef noodles restaurant in adelaide.
Pizza is okay, although we feel it's a bit thin and too crispy. Waiting time is long, although we are in the only customers in the cafe at the point of ordering.
Approximate cost: $7
Food is delicious and we definitely would revisit. Some of the recommended dishes incl the sizzling Mongolian beef and the mouth-watering braised beef.
Approximate cost: $15
The food is rather expensive, and served in small portion. We have ordered chillies crabs - 2 blue crabs $29 (spicy and yet salty, doesn't taste like the authentic Singapore chillies noodles which we had tried in East Coast Singapore); fiery vindaloo beef (taste nothing else but spicy), butter chicken (a small bowl probably can only feed 1 person and cost $17), beef belly (not as wow as expected, I have tasted a better version elsewhere), tamarind duck (duck meat itself is tasteless, and to get the flavour, it must be eaten with the tamarind sauce which was served separately). We have tasted a variety of dishes and get a small bite of each. Nice ambience for moment of relaxation.
Although the restaurant looks rather old, but they provide the best Vietnamese Beef Pho in Adelaide. We have ordered the special beef noodles (large - $10). It's rather a big portion and can possibly feed two persons. Nice minty tasted beef soup, with varieties like beef belly, beef balls, beef sliced and a generous amount of bean sprouts, served with sweet fragrant sauces and a real hot and spicy chillies.
A must-try! Their whiting fish is deliciously salty and crispy, every single bite of it is a bliss. Scallops is nice and juicy too, where both scallop and juice all wrapped up in a crispy batter. Prawns is OK, we like that too. They have seafood combo which is a good deal.
Thai - Tom Yum Goong in Regent Arcade in Rundle Mall for cheap Thai food. Nice and authentic without being too spicy. Free small bowl of dessert with main meals.
