Darling Quarter is rather expensive for a meal, but Nok Nok have $10 lunch specials which are perfect for busy workers in the area. The food is nothing special but for a lunch special it does the trick of making you satisfied. Inside is nicely decorated.
Burberry sells designer clothing and accessories at a reasonable price. A leather handbag will set you back approximately $2k and a quality pair of jeans about $300. Unfortunately there is very limited stock compared to what they have on their website. Good to check out for sizes through.
Very small store with limited range. If you are searching for something unique this store probably won't have it. I found the staff to be quite average and probably understaffed at best. However if you're looking for very basic needs such as prepaid phone services or basic cameras then this would be a decent place to check out.
Fantastic store with heaps of range. Visually stunning from inside and out. My only issue is I found the staff to be too casual at times. Most seem to be in their twenties and certainly appeal to people their own age. However I would prefer a more professional approach to my customer service.
I've been buying fudge from this shop for over ten years and I have never been disappointed. I love watching them make the fudge. Caramel is my favourite, absolutely delicious. But I'm guessing it's extremely sugary so wouldn't recommend too much at a time.
Came here with a groupon voucher when it was still open. Am disappointed it is closed because the only other cheap ribs place is across the harbour. I found staff to be average, nothing special.
This place is a decent games arcade that probably caters to driving gamers. There's a cool little bumper car section and a decent selection of toy grabbing machines. Keep an eye out for special prices to get your money's worth. Overall quite small, would prefer to see my ticket machines to redeem prizes.
This place has fantastic Reviews online but unfortunately I didn't see what all the fuss was about. Their servings are quite standard and so is the price. I had the $35 tasting plate and that was probably the only thing that was worth it. Beware there is a 15% surcharge on public holidays.
Joined Cruise Whitsundays for a ferry ride from Airlie Beach to Day Dream Island. The boat I went on was new and comfortable. Air conditioned on the inside and snacks available for purchase. My partner normally gets sea sick but didn't this time. I do however find the price to be a bit too steep.
Came here on a Saturday night specifically for their famous chicken. I even made a reservation to check if I needed to reserve a chicken, they assured me I didn't. Arrived at 7:30 only to be told they've sold out. Even worse, I was served by the manager who was shouting at other colleagues, never made eye contact with me, kept bouncing around. I ending up leaving after the manager wouldn't even take my order without leaving my table. I would never come back to this place no matter how good their chicken is.
