Have shopped at this nursery for a fair few years now, it is close to home which is a great advantage and they do have a large variety of products all year round. They have most of the fertlisers and nutrients required for your day to day gardening and all flora we have purchased have been happy and healthy, even after some time spent at home. The staff are also very friendly, this is paired with a reward card system you can use for store credits.

This bookshop is great, it works as an exchange shop so you get money back when you return a book you have bought (then read) back to the store. They have a large variety and always have new books coming into stock (since people trade and swap all the time). I always have a look when im in Newtown and have picked up some great things over the years.

These optometrists make some great quality packages for people. My set from them were fantastic, they were smart and really suited me to a tea. The service was good, as well as ongoing support with my glasses however as you expect with a quality product it also had a quality price so beware of the bill you might receive!

This shop makes the most beautiful flower arrangements. I have purchased many bunches for all occasions and they can make bright, beautiful and fab bunches for friends birthdays or conservative pleasent and warming bunches for funerals. The staff are really helpful with ideas for arrangements as well as being able to create pieces specifically requested. They also stock a large range of incense, candles, occasion gifts and other aromathery items.

Funky little store in the middle of King St, with lots of small gifts and presents to suit any occasion. They have a great range of house items as well from cooking gear to ashtrays, coasters, plates and more. They have lots of little toys and items which go well on Coffee tables or work desks. Quite often they feature a certain colour or theme of items and will stock a range of items to match said theme. Very cool range of odd products. Definitely worth a visit.

A top store to find little nick-knacks and presents for people. They have a wide range of quirky little books, gifts and oddities. They have a fantastic range of cards for pretty much every occasion. You will find things in Pentimento which you probably wont ever see again, so dont forget to snap it up before its gone!

Alfalfa House is an organice food co-op with a large range of fresh and organic foods which are great to cook with. It is hard to find fresh and unprocessed foods and if you are after some unique organic specialty foods i would definitely try here first. Located opposite the Enmore theatre its easy to get too via public transportl.

Beyond is a lovely store with a wide range of Aromatherapy products, jewellry and things to suit your house. I buy a lot of my specialty soaps from there as well as spending lots of time looking after the beautiful jewellry they have in their display cabinets. Specialty/Unique store, well worth the visit in Newtown.

This review is for Go Vita, Newtown NSW

Dealing with allergies and problems with wheat, this Go Vita store is fantastic in supplying my house with Rice Bread, which is the only bread my husband can eat. I havent been able to find the bread in many stores and they also have a good range of Gluten Free products. The prices arent that cheap, but these kinds of food dont seem to be cheap these days. They have stock most of the time during the week, however as it nears the weekend they can run out of different items. Definitely a visit if you are needed similar items.

This review is for Happy Chef Chinese Restaurant, Newtown NSW

Great cheap eat where you can get a nice mix of different chinese dishes. Nice and tasty, not the best chinese food out there but for a quick lunch meal its highly recommended. The staff are friendly, the store is quite large and there are generally plenty of seats.
