This is my family doctor, and it's everything you would want your doctor to be. The interior is warm and well-lit and there's a nice range of magazines, even though they're very outdated. The lines are very long on a busy day though, but they're excellent at squeezing you in if you every need a quick appointment. I know most of the receptionists and each one of them are very kind, and all the doctors are very experienced and good at their job.
Lizzy's Chocolates are DELICIOUS! It's a chocolate store that sells all sorts of treats like truffles and different chocolates that are cute shapes. They can be quite expensive though, a few dollars for a chocolate but you get what you pay for. There are beautiful gift sets that you can buy that would be perfect for a chocolate lover. The service is nice, you can ring a bell for service, and the quality you can't beat!
This is a small family dental clinic. The dentist, Dr. Nguyen is very kind, definitely knows what he is doing and makes the experience somewhat comfortable. It's not a busy place, so the wait is never long. There's a suitable amount of magazines, books toys and etc. in the waiting room. The receptionist, Mrs. Nguyen seems busy but friendly.
Summit Health Club is my regular gym, and I love it. The service is fantastic, the receptionist is always very sweet and helpful. There are heaps of different classes, and there are different rooms such as a spin room, weights room and cardio room. They tailor a program if you want, to suit your needs, like weight loss or muscle gain or whatever you want. There are TVs in the cardio room that you can listen to on to your iPod, so it never gets boring, and there's also a very affordable creche. I'm a huge fan!
Approximate cost: $15.00
This place has the best yum cha and food! The prices are a bit high, but the value is great. The yum cha is delicous because there are always different dishes to try. I don't like how it's so crowded and noisy, and it's always very hard to get a spot if you haven't made a booking!
Chemist Warehouse is the cheapest place to get all this medicine! I get my prescriptions and sometimes skincare from here. You can get a huge discount on things, and sometimes I've seen perfume is more than half price. The service isn't the best, I only ever see a few people at the counters so it's pretty hard to get help, but the value is unbeatable.
Copenhagen Bakery has a large range of pastries, cakes and coffee. They're absolutely delicious! Some of them are really expensive though, but it's worth it for a little taste! The service is about satisfactory, and the food comes quickly and the interior is sweet and slightly old fashioned.
Approximate cost: $10
I would say Jaspers Pizza is more of a 3.5 but oh well! The pizzas are really nice but the pasta is not that good, it's really plain and dosn't have much flavour. It usually takes a long time to make, but I suppose that's the case with all pizza!! The staff could be a bit more friendly and the magazines are old and out of date.
The value here is great! I got a pair of glasses for a very low price and they're very high quality. They have a nice range of designer glasses, but of course I couldn't afford them! The staff are really nice and friendly and they are willing to help you with whatever you need.
Flakey's has the nicest chips! I only wish that I lived closer to it. It's really cheap and not too greasy, like some other fish and chipperies. There's friendly staff and the wait wasn't too long. I really like the fish that they have there, it's tasty and I think it's pretty fresh.
