This is such an excellent restaurant. The food is so different to anything I have experienced. Hot and sour flavours. We had the banquet which was a jamboree of colours and flavours and served on the special bread unique to Fekerte's. The Pepperjack shiraz suggested by our waitress matched the food deliciously. Mr Fekerte told us all about traditional Ethiopian dining while Mrs Fekerte worked hard in the kitchen delivering the scrummy fare. The desserts were just the perfect ending to the evening (sweet, fruity and nutty). Yum, I'll definitely be returning.

Always packed, always busy, always good.
I have sampled some of the menu, but still find myself ordering a laksa almost every time I go in.
If you can find a table to squeeze into you will not be disappointed, but I find myself often opting for the take away, and slurping down my laksa at home

Debacle is damn superb. With over 120 beers on the menu what more do you need? It is super tres. It has some wicked beers on tap, and shows the footy on the big screen when its on. The pizzas are half price on Monday and Tuesdays too which is a right royal bargain. Go Debac's, you are the best.

The food is fantastic and great service. It has good atmosphere and is one of canberra's best restaurants.
Be prepared to pay for what you get as it usually costs around $150 for two people for two courses and dessert to share. Definitely the place to go if you want to treat yourself for anniversary or special occasion.

We three arrived with booking and were promptly seated at a comfortable table. Staff pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient. Food excellent and good size helpings. But overpriced!

The menu boasts a range of mod-Oz tastings, including fresh pastas and succulent meats. We tried the chargrilled kangaroo rump medallions, served on a wild mushroom and soft cheese risotto and drizzled with parmesan oil. Noisy, very packed.

A popular bar in Canberra, this pub also provides a few tasty treats to keep you fit to kick on into the night. Sit out in the courtyard and enjoy some yummy pizzas and tapas as well as burgers, bangers and mash, curries and a very popular pie of the day.

Great selection for vegetarians and if you're a little scared of burning the back of your throat, you can ask to have the spices wartred down a little.

The saying never judge a book by its cover applies strongly here. As we were seated I couldnt help but notice the faded plastic table clothes, rickety chairs, and white painted brick walls. But I am all about the food so it fresh worry me, although my partner did give that worried look.

An awesome restaurant where you get served by a very awesome and kind Indian gentleman. The taste of the food exceeds its value anyday! For those that have crucified the restaurant on not clearing a table, remember you are only paying $12 for a main meal! It is a relaxing atmosphere where you are not pressured by other restaurants that are turnover focused! I recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a relaxing evening and not in a hurry. You can't beat great food at a very very reasonable price. Seems some people do not know the real meaning of dining - having a relaxing time which this restaurant offers.
