Strings is a little sri lankan shop in Noble Park that I go to regularly. They make really good curry for a good price and their stringhoppers are delicious. If you like Sri Lankan food, come here.
Approximate cost: $6 for a curry
This is Football seems to specialize in European soccer tops and not Australian or A-League soccer tops although they do sell Australian and A-League tops and in my opinion is a good, honest store. They also do normal local club kitwear and is probably a better store to buy your European club gear at then Soccer Fever nearby. They also do framing and membrobillia there which is good.
Approximate cost: $120-$140
Football Galaxy is a little football (soccer) store practically hidden from the main group of shops, however when you find it, you see that they actually have alot of playing gear there. They sell most of the leading brands there like Nike and Adidas at average prices. The service there is good as well and better then most stores. If you can find the store and are interested in buying soccer gear, I recommend it
Approximate cost: $125 per top
I bought a few soccer tops from there and the tops are real, authentic soccer jerseys and not fake ones sold at a few places elsewhere. They also do personalized numbering and lettering there too for an extra price.
Approximate cost: $130 for a top
My brother got a mohawk here and although it was a bit pricey for a hair cut, he did a good job of the hair cut and even stopped eating his lunch so he could cut his hair, good service.
Approximate cost: $18
We come it to get our hair cut when we're in the area and it's worth it. They cut well and always do a good job of your hair. It's only $10 for a mens cut and it's definitely value.
Approximate cost: $10
I heard about this business from a family friend and although it was a long trip from Hampton Park to Malvern, it was defintitely worth it! The tapas and the seafood taste amazing and the service as well is top class. You have to book to get a table there but the hassle of this is certainly worth it. I recommend getting the tapas here because it tastes great.
Approximate cost: $30
Dandy Mart has a wide range of products from around the world and is something that we needed in the area. The value of the products are great and the fruit and vegetables there are well priced. Don't come here to buy meat though as it's more expensive here then in other places like Safeway. The $1 fruit bags are a great idea and something that major supermarkets should do to avoid wastage
Approximate cost: $23
Great store and can always get what I need here and the food tastes great. The service here could improve but it's not that bad. Great store and everyone who likes Indian food or need Indian groceries should come here.
The quality of the bread and the rolls here is alright and average for a local bakeries and a better alternative then buying Coles bread. However, the price for the rolls surprised me and for this quality of bread, the price is expensive and I wouldn't come here again to buy bread.
Approximate cost: $2 for a loaf
