Had dinner here tonight and was very impressed. Haven't been here for years and it has changed a bit from what I remember. The meals came out quick, big servings, great range and prices. The staff were friendly and efficient. The kids meals were fantastic - $6 for meal, drink and ice cream.

The only complaint I have is the floor around our table was filthy - covered with confetti, squashed lollies and cake and candles, maybe left over from lunch time.

Had breakfast here the other day and wasn't overly impressed. The food was alright but nothing special. Price wise it was good though. I think the waitress was new as she was very slow and we had to repeat ourselves a few times. I think there are a lot of better places to eat on Darby St.

YUM!! Swiss ice cream at its finest! A large range of flavours like choc coconut, macadamia, espresso, caramel and lots of fruity flavours. They also have waffles, pancakes, coffees and milkshakes. There are tables outside overlooking Newcastle Harbour and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be going back!

We paid $70 per night for a 3 night stay in a 2 bedroom self contained cabin. I feel this was amazing value! The cabins are well equipped with a double bed in one room, and a bunk and a single in the other room. The kitchen was stocked well and had a bar fridge, microwave and small stove. Free wifi and a DVD player as well.

The cabins were a little old and dated but they were very clean, the lounges and beds were comfortable, the cabin was air conditioned. Was within walking distance to Park Beach, Surf Club, Bowling Club, shops and playgrounds. Pet Porpoise Pool is 2 minutes away.

Highly recommended and will definitely stay again if we are even in Coffs Harbour!

Had breakfast here today with my husband and 16 month old daughter. The views are beautiful! We sat outside on the veranda looking north over the ocean and solitary islands. No whales today but heard you do see them sometimes!

The food was delicious! A decent variety to choose from too. There wasn't really any options for our daughter so she just had some of each of ours. I had the eggs benedict which had a lot of bacon, hollandaise sauce and wonderfully gooey eggs. Hubby had the pancakes that were fluffy and cooked to perfection.

A little on the expensive side, but the views make it worth it. A must visit!

Was a little worried about going here for dinner with a child as there was a live band and it is very backpacker friendly, but the bistro is amazing! Their food is delicious and well priced. They are very generous size wise as well. The kids meals come with a drink and ice cream and fruit and are a great size too, not too much.
The service was fast and friendly. They have a different $9.50 meal each night too which is great.

Fast and friendly service. Very yummy food! One of the best bacon and egg rolls I have ever had - so much bacon - I had like 2 rashers on there! So much better than one little square of bacon! Hubby had the Tex Mex burger and said it was awesome too.

Love it here! Its pretty small and not a large variety of animals, but it is very easy to play with the dolphins and seals here. We went in non holiday time so it was not very busy so we got to play with the dolphins a fair bit. We also fed the penguins.

We got our picture taken with a seal kissing us and a dolphin kissing us which is awesome and the marine show is very educational and interactive. There is also the opportunity to swim with the dolphins and seals for an extra fee.

Café and gift shop are reasonably priced.

A must see!!

After a drive with the family we found ourselves in Morpeth. We just wanted something light for lunch, so ended up here. It was hard to choose between their pies and a fresh sandwich! Their pies looked crispy and delicious! My husband and I both ended up with a sandwich and were not disappointed! Great, fresh and overflowing with fillings!
Price wise it was good too! Even got a caramel tart which one did for the both of us it was that big.

Took our 15 month old daughter here for a play today. It wasn't too busy which was good, but she kept getting knocked over and pushed out of the way by the bigger kids playing in the toddlers area. I think this needs to be controlled a little.
We didn't end up having any food there, but it was clean and the food looked good and was priced well. The play areas were clean too. Entry prices are great! It only cost us $7.90 (for our daughter) and my husband and I were free!

Approximate cost: $7.90
