Always get one of the best hair cuts at this shop / salon, as do a lot of my friends. Staff are expert and always have a good chat with them about life, and walk out feeling like a million bucks.

One of the best places for coffee in Melbourne that I have found. Went there with a friend, and stayed for a little while to absorb the bizarre interior. Definitely worth a look

For what it is, it is a fairly nice place.
The service has always been lacking. It can take a long time to get anyone's attention whilst seated. The waits are very often long. The blame for this is not necessarily the individual staff, but perhaps the numbers being understaffed.
The food however has always been a pleasant varied range of well prepared, good quality ingredients. Everything from asian to italian, they do it well.
Always worth a visit compared to the other competitors around the area, for a potentially quick feed, or more likely a long lazy lunch, with a few drinks whilst you wait for your table.

This review is for Polly Bar, Fitzroy VIC

Polly has an amazing atmosphere, red velvet styled couches, luxurious but comfortable, just like the food. The food served matches the atmosphere completely. Bite sized morsels cooked to perfection, served with a cocktail of your choice, or if you fancy, a nice wine or two. Come for the food, stay for the cocktails, you can spend all night here no problems.

This review is for Misty's 1950's Diner, Prahran VIC

It's a cool unique place, with friendly staff, especially on the quiet week night we went. The decor is fun and friendly, with the whole 50's diner vibe. Prices were reasonable, and the range of food is quite good. The chilli poppers were reasonably nice, but the food in general can be quite stodgy, even for the kind of food it is. Those refried beans on the chilli fries was pastey and not very appealing. If better quality ingredients were used, I'm sure this place could become an even better experience, and worth coming back to again and again.

Phone service is cheap with them, but what's the point of having any service, cheap, or even free, if people can't call you, important calls drop out, in fact any and nearly all calls drop out. This coming from someone making calls when very close to the CBD, and inner city, where coverage should be at it's strongest. Staff seem to dodge this problem consistently. I would hate to be out in the country and try this. It can't be that hard to get good reception can it?

slowest, most incompetent delivery person ever. He had no idea how the street numbers worked, and was on the phone with me looking for my house for about 15 minutes, when I live on a clearly marked, numbered and big obvious st. The guy did not know about odd and even numbers, and was also on the wrong street. Eventually got some cold sludge. Noodles were also gluggy, I hope theyve changed.

A nice reliable shop for always fresh fish and chips. Service is friendly, and a good place to have a yarn with some locals about the local sites, and other near by facilities to get involved with.
The food is cheap and cheerful, better than the other local competition, as well as being served with a more genuine attitude of friendliness, and more dedication to service from the staff.

I was not expecting much when I perused the menu, but the food was fabulous, with delicious morsels of tapas, made with local ingredients, and oysters done 4 ways. The sauces were a little bit sweet for my liking, a bit too much sweet chilli, because the dishes were so fresh and delicious they didnt need such strong accompaniments to compliment them, as they were good enough by themselves.
Wine selection was quite nice too.
Service was stand out, very friendly, helpful, and understanding, the guy there was a real asset to the business.

Although the interior is bordering on small, the outdoor area is a much bigger space to enjoy the treats of this store. The grass and sporadic seats make for an enjoyable setting to enjoy the food and drink, take in some sun, and discuss the works of art you and your friends have just experienced (or perhaps even discuss with some strangers). A very modern setting to really reflect on your day of walking and enjoying the master pieces of art in the best gallery Tasmania has to offer.
