Its in a beautiful location in South Perth overlooking the river and Perth. The interior design is very dated now but the food is still exceptional. I have had lunch numerous times and it is always so nice. I have had the smorgasboard Sunday breakie and that is good value for money. You get all the usual buffet breakie foods plus an egg station so you can have freshly cooked eggs, omelettes, scrambled etc.. The chocolate croissants are really nice.

Great value takeaway meals. Quite authentic Italian food that tastes very nice - especially for take away. Chilli mussels & Spaghetti Carbonara are really nice and creamy. You can dine-in, it is very basic inside but clean and tidy.

A favourite at Joondalup Shopping Centre and has been there for a long time. The chicken salad is nice and fresh and coffee is good (not the bext but definately not the worst you'll have). Service is a bit hit and miss and its very crowded with tables inside the open cafe. If you have a pram.trolley you have to leave it outside but you can sit next to it as it is a waist height partitiioned wall between you both. Prices are really reasonable.

Nice fish & chips. You can order your fish grilled or battered and the chips are really nice and crunchy and not too greasy. I found the portion sizes decent (and not overwhelming like others). I do like that if you dont want just simple fish & chips you can get an assortment of seafood and salads - which I found really fresh and tasty. You can eat in which ismall in size but very clean and tidy.

A moderate Italian Cafe in Leederville. The interior is nicely laid out and spacious for a pram but the service is a bit slow (typical for Perth though). We had to ask to order drinks and then our meals. I had the Prawn Risotto which was nice and creamy and quite large but a little light on for prawns. Others had the fettucine which I was told was good but they had have better eslsewhere. Its an alright cafe but for Leederville you do expect a little better. Prices are very reasonable though!

Great place to go with kids as upstairs they have a playground (though it is only open at night). The food is your average pub style steak/chicken and chunky chips, but they so also do salads as well. They have a huge selection of steaks to choose from. I had the Chicken Neptune which was really tasty, chicken with prawns, avocado and sauce - yummy.

A really nice Chinese restaurant that would have one of the best views in Perth overlooking the Indian Ocean. You can have a-la-carte or a variety of set menus. Mosy of the time we go for the set menu so our choices are made for us. The set menus include entree, mains & desert. The portions are very generous and the fried rice is not oily or dry. Definately a place to visit.

Jettys is a buffet restaurant that has been at Hillarys Boat Harbour since the marina opened. It does breakfast, lunch and dinner all year. The food is very good for a buffet style restuarant and due to the large size of the restaurant the food turns over very quickley. The seafood is always very nice (especially the prawns - but you do have to shell them) and the view is exceptional overlooking the marina. You can sit inside and out and the staff are very attentive taking your plates away often so they dont pile up.

I use this site all the time to get recipes. It has reviews at the bottom of each recipe to let you know what other people think and even ideas to improve the recipes. It is a free website and I usually only use 1-2 recipes from a whole cookbook so this is far more practical.
The website has pictures to let you know what it should turn out like. You can pick what style of recipe you want - main, entree, deserts or chicken, beef, pork.

Fantastic coffee and the best deserts you could ever want. We ordered a share plate of churros and it really was huge. We got 3xchurros and the chocolate sauce is real melted high quality chocolate . Coffee is really nice and you can just sit outside watching the world go past and relax for a little while enjoying your coffee and desert.
