after many surgeries over a few decades,can honestly say that this hospital is up there with the best.reception staff meet and great well.nursing staff mostly friendly and helpful.
Clean wards,top notch theatres,friendly,helpful(most of the staff)
Rooms are lovely with nice views(most of them)alot of private rooms.
Catering was lovely,and Im vegan/vegetarian also.
Nice little cafe for a quick coffe,snack,flowers(not many)magazines,some toiletries,teddies to purchase.Atm available.Internet access also.
Pretty little courtyards to go and sit in and also look at from your bed.
Only gripes,NEEDS an emergency ward!!!! Also,
Dont get a private room (Jacaranda ward) near the kitchen,bang bang noises all day and some of the night.

Mr Broughton is very caring and well exprienced,but in saying this,he rushes your visits.
Despite this,went ahead with knee arthroscopy and he was fantastic.
Most patients go home the same day,but I stayed in Peninsula private hospital overnight,as I have other health issues.
He even visited me the day I went home(the next day)
His prices are average.
His surgical asisstant was wonderful,a lady,cant remember her name.
The anaesthetist was a little abrupt,but,obviously good at what he does.
Word of wording,one of Mr Broughtons receptionists is a little weird.
Shall return though.

have been sending all of my pets to the team at KVH for 20 years now,can honestly say that they are extremly knowledged,skillfull,caring,compassionate,...
blood tests on the spot,operating theatres,only downside is that they arent 24 hrs,and you have to go to the local emergency vets,of whom are good,but charge much more than KVH,and KVH isnt cheap.
But,the team are just wonderful at KVH and have allowed me (disabled low income pensioner)to pay off many accounts.
Without such,my animals would never get the treatment that they have needed.
Thanks to the great vets,especially Dr Craig Reeves ad Barb Bakhoy....

Kristie is a very friendly helpful florist,of whom always knows what I want.
Good prices,nice flowers,cant ask for much more.She will make up a gift basket if you ask,for any occasion also.

early arrival for looking at my gas heater,friendly,clean,happy service.
Went out of their way to get me a 2nd hand part to save me hundreds of dollars.
Have been fantastic to me,as a disabled person.
Quality work,not one problem since the job was done in April.

always get an appointment,maybe not with my prefered doctor,but,other doctors are mostly fine.
never waited longer than 30 min,and a few female doctors available.
standard waiting room area,nothing flash.
adjacent to Xray,and pathology centres.
No childs play area,that I could see anyway.
Most reception staff helpful.
They have a line that you call for your blood tests results from a nurse,though,shes a little snappy at times.
Medical charges can go back into your account.(well,what you get back)
Overall,quite happy with here.

my mind boggles,as to why out of nine out 10 visits the balcony with the view and outside option has been closed.
A little wind doesn't hurt anyone.very curt young rude wait person,said to me,too windy!!!
rubbish,and I have a diploma in weather patterns etc.Made to sit inside with the sun burning my face and a very crowded dining room,that could have been less crowded if the balcony was sitting meals.Asked to move to a table of four and was told it was booked out,no one ever turned up.
Music overhead piped throughout was simply annoying also.
this location has a wonderful view,and I have experienced the joy of the balcony,once!
Not once has a wait person offered the vegan or gluten free menus.
The seafood basket was simply too flash fried and too oily
Coffee was nice and dessert selection a little on the boring side,(cafe style)
Shame pineapple juice wasnt available.
Shall return for for the view,and other menu items are nice,cappucino was good also.
