I agree with the others, it is not what it used to be. It used to have a great family atmosphere, with lots of little stalls and shops. Great place to go on weekends with plently of fun things to do with the kids. The last time i went, it was nothing like it was when i was a kid. I was very dissapointed.

They are a great idea. Last week i received one for Subway buy 1 footlong and a drink and get another footlong free. I thought that was fantastic value. I will be using it very shortly. Another good one i have used was for AMF bowling buy one game and shoe hire get one free for up to 4 people. It was a huge saving. So next time you get a reciept, have a look on the back before you throw it away. You never know what you might find.

I occasionally go to Thebarton swimming centre to do laps and did swimming lessons there when i was a kid. I do think that the place is getting a little run down. The entry fee is cheaper than the aquatics centre, and the location is convenient for me, these are the reasons i use this centre. The pools always look clean and hygenic and are a good temperature. I have also done aqua aerobics at this centre, it was fun.

I visited for the first time a few weekends ago.I was impressed with the size of the store, they sell dinnerware, glassware, home wares and furniture. They do sell mostly Maxwell and Williams and a bit if S&P, i think they should bring it some more brands, everyone sells Maxwell and Williams and i am getting a little tired of it. They had some pretty looking furniture and a great selection of decorative wall clocks. The service was good, i was offered assistance by several different staff members

I do my weekly fruit and veg shop here. They always have fresh quality produce. The staff are friendly, after going through the checkout, the cashier always calls one of the boys from out the back to carry my shopping to the car (which is sometimes parked quite far away because Glenelg is usually very busy). I think this is great, i have never received this kind of service anywhere else. They also have a loyalty card program, in which you end up getting 30% off on your last visit.

Fantastic range of chocolates and lollies. They import things like pop tarts, different flavored mm's, reeces, imported soft drinks. It is very tempting seeing all the lovely treats in the window as you walk by. Prices are little more expensive than in a grocery store, but it is well worth it.

I have been going here for years. Usually get the nachos, the burritos are also good and they make fantastic margaritas. Fast and efficient service, even when they are flat out. The meals are well priced, good location, but the place was looking a little old and tired. It will be interesting to see what it will look like when it re opens.

Approximate cost: $20

This review is for Gaganis Bros, Hindmarsh SA

Gaganis has everything! Huge variety of products, they sell, small goods, kitchenware's, olive oil, coffee, nuts, lentils, fresh bread, Greek style BBQ's. Its not the prettiest looking shop, it is a large warehouse. Some of my favorites are tarama olive dip, saganaki cheese, kalamata olives, loukaniko saussages and the large buckets of Haloumi cheese Cyprot style with lots of mint. Service is excellent. Definitely worth a try. If you do not live nearby foodland stores stock a range of their products too.
