Very professional and caring staff with one on one attention at pilates sessions. A small studio which ensures that there's only up to 3 or 4 people training at once. Good equipment and great instruction on how to get the best out of your session for your particular needs.
Super Bowl is fast becoming a regular restaurant as it's in a great location, right in the middle of the valley, has cheap tasty Chinese food and is BYO. A great place to start a night out with friends. It's always packed and noisy and 'Happy Birthday' is often sung over the speakers. The decor hasn't been updated in many years, but filled with people it has a great bustling atmosphere.
Cirque is my number one choice for all day breakfast on the weekend. Always crowded with locals, they have delicious breakfast options in a relaxed and stylish atmosphere. I like sitting upstairs on the enclosed balcony overlooking the street. The breakfast special usually grabs my attention and it has never failed to bring a smile to my face. It can be too busy mid morning on the weekends and can take ages to get a table, but it's worth the wait.
It's often hard finding a good chiropractor and I was recommended to go to City Centre Chiropractic. I have been back several times and am very happy with the service. The staff are friendly and I felt very reassured that I was in good hands.
I had been looking for a good therapeutic massage when I was recommended Base 1. This organic hairdresser has a massage room that I look forward to visiting. This not a relaxing oil rub type massage, rather a professional, remedial massage. Very reasonable rates and a relaxing environment.
I just discovered Crosstown Eating House at Wooloongabba and know that it will become a regular place to meet friends, share some tasty plates of food and sip through their wine list. It has a great relaxed atmosphere downstairs with upstairs currently being renovated into a bar. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The food was fantastic, with some a twist on great old-fashioned fare.
Arriva is a fantastic low key Italian restaurant. I have been there three times now and it's been great each time. Always packed with locals, it's wise to book ahead. Great pizza and pasta and I love that it's BYO, which makes for a cheap but fun night out.
One of the best dining experiences I've had in a while. The decor is simple and stylish and the food is top notch. I found myself savouring each mouthful. A little on the expensive side, Ecco is perfect for a special occasion and or if you want to impress a food lover.
Friendly and helpful optometrist at Strathpine. The staff are always very helpful and take the time to answer any questions you may have. Unbiased advice on contact lenses and thorough eye testing. Very happy with this service, although a long way to go if you don't live on the north side of brisbane.
A very caring and professional dental practice. I have been to this dental surgery a few times now and am very happy and confident with the advice and service provided. The rates a very competitive but you'll have to book months in advance as they are always fully booked, which is a great sign that patients have remained faithful to this practice for many years.
