Great Korean Kinm Chi stews and ramens and really reasonably priced. The seating is separate to the rest of the Hunter food court so you always get to sit down and eat your lunch and it is a little quieter than the rest of the food court so you don't get jostled. Kim Chi stew had a fresh egg, pork and kim chi. sizziling hot and served with 2 sides. Fabulous broth.base. Great option they also have ready prepared food for 1 serve $5.00. I have not tried the ready prepared but it is pretty good value based on price.

Beautiful soups here and only $7.00 with a lovely fresh bread roll. I love the beef and vegetable soup, hearty and not short on ingredients. Really fabulous on chilly Winter days. This is a takeaway fast food lunch place that also has gorgeous salads and pastas. Super fast friendly service and as the name implies uses only fresh natural ingredients. Great tasty and healthy (bonus) lunch option.

The restaurant section of the pub is separate to the main bar so it is really quiet and has beautiful views of the beach. On Fridays they have $12.00 steak or $15.00 buckets of prawns. The steak was nicely cooked and tender, not a huge portion but more than enough for me. It was served with a little jug of pepper sauce or they had mushroom or diane. Chips also excellent. Did not try the bucket of prawns but it looked great. Very good traditional pub fare with seaside views and at a very reasonable price. They also have kids meals. Drinks also reasonably priced. We had lunch and it was great for families at this time. I think it gets pretty busy at nights.

All of the signs around this coffee stop indicate they are premium roasters etc etc, best coffee they say. I waited more than ten minutes to receive a weak lack lustre flavourless coffee. It was way too milky, the people serving the coffee seemed to think the few people waiting were there especially to watch them, becausetthey were coffee cool .... I really hate all this pretentious coffee culture crap. Just make me a good coffee and get on with it. Better places to get decent coffee. And they short changed me.

Had some lovely gnocchi from here. It had tomato and chilli sauce with italian sausage and a dash of cream. Gnocchi Mamma Maria - I think that is what it was called. It was served piping hot, freshly cooked. A little more for a take away lunch option when compared to what you get from many of the food halls in the area but it was cooked to order and tender. Miles ahead in terms of quality compared to what you get for $12.00 from the food hall. It is well worth the extra few dollars

I love a Korean bbq but not for 90.00 for 2 adults and 1 child. The concept for this restaurant is you go across the car park to the establishment's butcher to choose the meat you will bbq at your table. The prices for the meat are exorbitant 19.00 for chicken about 200g of chicken in chilli sauce, calamari was $49.00 for three strips plus they make you pay $5.00 per person for sides and salads. Salad is a bit of raw cabbage plus there is a tray of undressed lettuce leaves. The sides are largely uninspiring, the kim chi all right, black beans with sesame o.K and some radish etc. Plenty of them but most not worth eating and very small portions. There is no menu outside so you drive in and they usher you through and then tell you about the butcher, by then you have parked and are kind of committed despite the over priced meat at the butcher (which you discover later). Understand wagyu is expensive but chicken and squid for more than $20 in very small serves. Then you have to cook your dinner. No rice either and we were all still hungry after. There is a separate non bbq menu with much more reasonable prices. The waiter seemed quite out of it and service was non existent. Cooking your own lunch on a bbq plate is definitely not an appealing gimmick for me - I can fire the bbq up at home anytime - especially when they charge like a fine dining restaurant. Go to Chinatown instead. Cheaper and better.

This place looks like it was built in the 70s and has not been renovated since. Rooms are tired, bathroom more like what you would find in a caravan park. Lifts were broken and we had to lug our bags down 5 floors. Pool discoloured, television does not even have digital and is not even flat screen, only 4 channels and grainy pics. To add insult to injury they make you pay all of your accommodation in advance in addition to 100.00 security deposit. I think they do this so you can't cancel and leave as soon as you see the poorly furnished dirty room. You could not do $100 worth the damage in this place as everything is so old and worn. Don't ever stay here. $120 for the night including breakfast. The breakfast was actually alright. This place tries to advertise itself as some kind of spa or luxury resort. I am telling you that a full renovation would not be enough to save this place - demolition and redevelopment are the only things that could save it. Avoid avoid avoid.

Stayed here in a two bedroom apartment with direct access to the beach and ocean views. In fact this is one of the few buildings directly on the beach in this part of the Gold Coast. It had everything we needed - dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, microwave and stove. Our unit was not air conditioned which could be a problem in high Summer but was fine in April. There are ceiling fans. Floor was tiled and the huge lounge/couch was super comfortable and long enough to stretch out on. Two TVs with access to cable and free to air - great selection of channels. Apartment was simply decorated and although not everything is brand new (appliance wise), everything is in good working order. The oven made a strange rattling sound when it was on but it worked well enough. The pool spa is also great - mega jets and nice and hot, great to relax in after three days of theme parks and long walks on the beach. Really great value and nice people running this place. It was quiet but still close to Surfers Paradise. Great rates at 125 per night for 5 day plus stays.

Service here is very friendly and they have daily specials that are great value at around $10.00. I had the roast and it was pretty much what you would expect from most RSLs or clubs, stock standard roast with three veg and gravy. Not exceptional but hearty and filling and the meat was tender. Lets face it you don't come here for fine or gourmet food - just a pleasant inexpensive meal and that was delivered. The views are great as it is right on the beach and it has a lovely welcoming atmosphere. Worth checking out if you are in the area.

Fantastic Marinara pizza here. Lovely thin crispy base and creamy mozarella, scrumptious tomato sauce, beautiful plump prawns and tender calamari with a fabulous olive oil drizzle on top. Seafood was super fresh and a sprinkle of garlic and the lightly flavoured olive oil finished the combination perfectly. Also tried the meat pizza and it was delicous too, spicey peppery pepperoni with bacon. Great pizza.
