The guys who run the place are pleasant and businesslike. The rates are competitive. The yard is always clean and organised. I hired a compactor at the day rate and they said they would refund the difference if I returned it in half a day (4 hours). I returned it in 5 hours and asked if I would still qualify for the refund. They were flexible and refunded half the amount.

The fish is fresh and you have an option of chilli, lemon or garlic flavour. The chips are plentiful and are cooked in a very tasty oil. The staff are friendly and efficient. The price is reasonable. They also serve made up salads to go. I invariably think of this place when I want fish and chips.

I called their 24hr emergency service after a power fault and my electricity was disconnected by Western Power late on Saturday night of the Easter weekend. They were very professional. The electrician was young and courteous and quietly completed the job in good time.

Great value for money. The food is fresh and the flavours are good, not great. It was a little noisy both times I went. It's licensed. The staff are friendly and courteous. The bottle of water was replenished 3 times at our table quietly and without it being asked. That attention to service was really appreciated.

I ordered the marinara and Oliver ordered the New York steak. The food was wonderful, we both enjoyed our meals immensely. The service was freindly, welcoming but a bit slow. The chef came out and said hello. The atmosphere was pleasing, the music low, the chairs comfortable. We gave it one strike for slow service. Would definitely go again.
