Liz and Lindsay are a husband and wife team. Lindsay buys only the freshest fruit and vegetables at the Rocklea markets and Liz packages them up for delivery. Basically you let Liz know what fruit and vegetables you like or don't like and then you get a nice surprise (within the budget you have set) of fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables delivered right to your door.
They use re-useable chiller bags to deliver your order so you don't even need to be home! You just leave those bags out for Lindsay to collect the following week and they are replaced with full bags.
Liz and Lindsay offer a great, flexible delivery service of fresh fruit and veggies and the quality is so much better than at the supermarkets.
Cannot recommend them enough!!

Awesome food - more traditional type Mexican food. Not a hugely extensive menu but there is enough to satisfy any group. They are more than willing to cook to your taste and make dishes hotter. They also offer a free chilli dip which is only for the brave and not the faint-hearted.

This is a pleasant restaurant with good service and great food.

A friendly country-town style butcher with a wide variety of meat. They offer value packs. The staff are friendly and are always willing to offer advice. They also sell some gourmet products in store.

Mike's Home Brew is a small independent store with a wide variety of stock. The staff are professional and go out of their way to assist you - both with the products you need and advice.

It is cheaper to get pizzas from this little restaurant to feed a family than it is to go to MacDonalds! Plus they make absolutely beautiful gourmet pizzas. Their garlic bread is to die for (you must like fresh garlic!). Their calzones are huge and delicious.
The prices are extremely good - especially for Italian food. Their pasta dishes are fantastic as are all their mains and entrees. I have not had a dish I don't like so far! Oh, and their dessert of crepes with bananas is worth saving some room for - if you can! The meals are huge so you wont want dessert, but believe me, it is worth getting a doggy bag for the mains so you can get dessert!
This is not a "flashy" restaurant - it is more of a cafe style restaurant but the staff are friendly and the food is unbeatable!

This is a small jewellery store with friendly staff and a fantastic jeweller. I originally went to this store to get my boss' watch fixed and 4 years later I have bought heaps of jewellery and had watches and various pieces of jewellery repaired. I have also had jewellery which I designed made for me.

I think the prices are extremely reasonable and if they don't have something in stock now, they will source it and get it for you - usually very quickly.

Helena Stewart Designs is a small boutique bridal shop with some fantastic dresses and fantastic prices.

Helena is extremely helpful and went out of her way to make sure my gown fitted me perfectly. Her prices are fantastic and, in addition to the gowns she stocks she also has some of her own designs. I was able to get my veil through her and my dress altered through her. It was really a one-stop shop for me to get my wedding attire.

I cannot recommend her highly enough! I have selected that I will use her again but this is unlikely - I hope I never have the need to use her again because my marriage will last forever! :)

Dr Bruce Whittingham is, in my opinion, a healer. He has helped me, my family, my husband, my children and my friends. He has, on many occasions, seen me at a moment's notice when I have suffered migraines and he even managed to give me an adjustment at my own home following my first husband's funeral.
I cannot recommend Dr Bruce enough! He is knowledgeable, professional, gentle and wonderful!

This hair salon has great staff who are always friendly and go the extra mile to make your visit pleasant. The salon is modern and extremely clean and professional. They have adjustable basins where they wash your hair (and usually give you a scalp massage while they're at it) and the seats at the basins are massage chairs so the whole experience is particularly decadent. The prices are reasonable.

I initially went to this salon because I found them in the Yellow Pages, they were nearby and they could fit me in immediately. That was 4 years ago and I now see them every 6 weeks or so and wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

The salon keeps your details on file so they can always look up what you had done last time you visited. In addition they always send out a voucher (usually $10 or $20) for your birthday plus discount vouchers throughout the year. They also have a rewards system whereby you earn points for each service you have done and those points can be redeemed for services.

I have been buying all my nappies, baby wipes, hand wash, breast pads and tissues from Nappyland for 2 years now. Their website is user-friendly. Orders are processed quickly and delivered fast. I have, on more than one occasion, made an order late at night and had that order on my doorstep by 1pm the next day! Can't complain about that. The prices of nappies are extremely good and most nappies can be purchased in bulk lots - bigger boxes than what is available at supermarkets etc. I cannot fault this company and can highly recommend them. They save you money, time and are convenient. I don't have to try to lug boxes of nappies through shops to the car anymore and I pay less!!
