This little shop is tucked away in Wynnum and he does a fantastic job of fixing shoes. We have had quite a few pairs of childrens shoes with the sole coming off. Instead of having to buy a new pair we take it to the Shoe Hospital and he fixes it up as good as new and we get a lot more wear out of the shoes. Outstanding workmanship.

I will often take documents in to Wynnum Print and Copy to be bound as they last a bit better that way. They do a great job, at a good price, and the service is always cheerful and helpful. I have also had them photocopy some bits and pieces over time as well. They do all sorts of things here.

These guys do the best pizza around Wynnum. They might be a bit more expensive than the other pizza stores, but you need less pizza to go around as the value of the pizza is better. They are fantastic pizzas. Their ribs are also to die for. When I was pregnant I would get mad cravings for their ribs. YUM!!!

Every now and then I will stop in to Wondall Fruit barn and pick up some fruit for the family. Quite often they have some great specials that allows me to stock up on something. Their range is good and the quality is nice too.

The staff at Narelle's are the friendliest that I have come across. I took the children there for a hair cut and they were great with them. The children sat nice and still for the ladies cutting their hair as they spoke to them and kept them quite entertained. Great job.

I visit this little pharmacy quite often to pick up different medications for the family. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. It is great having a pharmacy close by. They have a fair range of products.

I have never been to the mushroom farm itself, but they sell the spent mushroom compost out on the roadside, and it is fabulous for the compost and garden. Quite often you will still get some mushrooms from the spent compost if you leave it in a dark dry spot and lightly spray it. Great for the garden.

Every now and then my family will get takeaway Chinese for dinner, and usually go to Gum Sing as it is close. Twice we have eaten in at the restaurant and it is also ok. They do a fair buffet and most of the food is quite nice. Standard chinese fare. We like it.

Sometimes when we are visiting the library we will pop into the pharmacy just to have a look around. My children love all the trinkets and knick-knacks they have in this shop. The staff are super friendly, and very children friendly. They always have a smile and a friendly word. They have also been very friendly and efficient when I have gone in to get something specific or have a prescription filled.

I took my children along to Aphrodite Livanes after a recommendation from a friend of mine. They were fantastic with the way they handled the children in the testing, and very thorough. They picked up on a couple of minor problems that two of the children had that hadn't been picked up in a normal optometrical eye test. I was very impressed with their attention to detail and follow up.
