Loved the breakfast I ordered today but when I requested the menu to order a second dish, there was no mention of what time breakfast ended. When I asked for my second breakfast dish at 11.31, I was told there was no way as breakfast ended at 11.30. Seriously? It's this kind of inflexibility that drives patrons bananas. Still, good food, wish I could have eaten the pikelets on offer. Meh.

Wow, I've only been here once but it left a lasting impression. I ordered a bacon and egg muffin and a coffee. Both were superb and I was pretty amazed at the low prices too! I also ordered a lunch salad to take away (a combination of two of the salads on offer) and it was absolutely delicious. The service is very pleasant and friendly. Can't recommend highly enough :).

I dropped in on a Saturday afternoon to make initial enquiries about a new car. I couldn't see any signs of life at the new car dealership so I crossed the road and went to the used car lot. A salesman came out and was very helpful though I was enquiring about new cars.

He directed me back to the new car lot and I spent 5-7 minutes looking at the cars and looking in the windows of the premises to try and get someone's attention. With no one bothering to come and talk to me, I headed back to where I'd parked my car and only then, did the new car salesman emerge from the sales office in the used car lot. Too late. Definitely gives a bad impression. Considering how much the car retail industry is suffering, one would think service would be high on the list of priorities.

This review is for Qld Massage & Fitness Therapies, New Farm QLD

I've visited this business twice for massages because I bought a two-visit voucher. Unfortunately, the environment is not very conducive to relaxation. Both times there was a bootcamp session going on downstairs plus an extremely loud vacuum just beyond the thin wall. On my second visit, I was in a different part of the room and there was not even anywhere to hang my clothes and no chair to place them on. The therapist advised me to put them on the floor. If you want a no-frills massage without the quiet, then go here. I had a different therapist each time and although both times I specified that I needed massage on my upper body and shoulders, they spent half the time on my legs and feet! 'Atmosphere' is almost non-existent, the massages were average and the premises could use a little more attention to detail. Parking is fairly easily found on the street but look for signs saying where you can park and for how long for free.

Sure, I did try this business based on deal vouchers but even those who pay full price will still experience the noise, the lack of atmosphere and the therapists who decide what's good for you, despite what you ask for.

This review is for Caffe And Gelato Milany, Ascot QLD

Underwhelmed, unimpressed. The tubs of colourful gelati looked promising but failed to deliver. Perhaps it's because I ordered chocolate and coffee and gelato doesn't do justice to these flavours which benefit from the addition of cream. I just found it over-rated. The premises are clean, well-staffed and well-presented. I may go back and try something more appropriate as a gelato ... lemon and pistachio. But then again, I might stick with Baskin & Robbins.

Kerrin took my corporate photos for me for use on my website and business cards and did an amazing job. She is highly professional, beautifully skilled and has a keen eye for detail. Her pricing is competitive and she carries with her backdrops to change the effects of the photos. She'll also give advice on what to wear and how to sit, etc. I'd highly recommend Kerrin to anyone wanting to elevate their corporate image. She also does weddings, charity events, lifestyle photography and is also an accomplished fine artist.

This review is for Treacle Cafe, Grange QLD

Treacle is like a local secret. It's a great little cafe/restaurant to sit and read the paper while drinking coffee or to enjoy a more substantial meal. It has seating indoors and outdoors (with heating in winter) and serves excellent coffee. The breakfast menu has something for everyone including vegetarian and organic options. If you read their menus you'll see that everything they do has an interesting slant on it: Cone of diamond cut beer battered chips with garlic aioli and tomato sauce, for example. But try something different like the Twice Baked Crab & Cheese Soufflé.

This review is for SmartClinics, Chermside QLD

Smart Clinics is a very slick operation filling a gap in the medical centre market. Open from 7am to 9pm 7 days a week, patients are assured of minimal wait times. Every time we've been there, we've been seen within 5 minutes. Although there are no doctors on staff, patients are seen by very capable nurse practitioners who can prescribe medications, order tests and conduct examinations including breast exams, prostate checks, pap smears, etc. The price is higher for out of regular hours visits but this is to be expected; convenience costs. This is a highly professional organisation and many details have been carefully considered. Forget the magazines in the waiting room and browse the net on the provided iPads. There's also a kids' playground, a diagnostic machine that checks your weight, BP and other vitals plus there are some over-the-counter medications available for purchase.

This review is for Mark's Mobile Massage, Wynnum QLD

Utterly fantastic massage! Mark does a great, firm remedial massage and sorts out my shoulder knots pretty promptly. He brings his own table, towels, oil and music. He's 100% trustworthy and I wouldn't hesitate recommending him to others. The fact that he comes to you means you can totally relax and not have to deal with traffic or other inconveniences on your way home.

Peter gives a great massage. He also takes great pride in the music selections he can offer clients to enjoy while they relax. I had my massage at home and Peter brought everything needed including an iPod player to play the tunes. He's polite, trustworthy and interesting. You could nod off but you might miss learning something :).
