Popped in there, while I was down at the Brickworks shopping and enjoyed a most welcome cup of coffee which I enjoyed. The cafe is in an indoor, outdoor setting and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The coffee and cake cost around eight dollars fifty and the cakes were home made. They also do breakfast and lunches The service too was good.
I came across this little jewellry shop while visiting the brickworks, I found besides designing their own beautiful jewellry they also do valuations, cleaning and repairs or can design or re-design something for that special occasion e.g. engagement or wedding.
The lady who served me was most efficient and helpful and the prices were fairly reasonable considering the quality.
This is the best place to buy tea. You can buy over a hundred varities of tea that come from around the world. They also sell teapots and accesseries and you can also indulge yourself with a nice cup of tea or coffee while you're there.
I went to Trade Secret one day when they were having a sale and I didn't buy anything as I couldn't find anything I liked and I thought the sale prices were too high also.
They have a collection of books and toys starting from tiny tots upwards. They have also have a range of different toys and their toys are more educational and constuctive. There's also a small area where the kids can play while you look around. If you are looking for that special toy for Christmas, it's worth a look.
Great grocery discount shop. We always pop in there when we are out that way. They don't carry the whole range of groceries that the other Supermarkets do but it does have quite a good range of food items. They also sell some N.Z. favourite items.
I ATTENDED A FREE LESSON AT THE LIBRARY AND FOUND THE INSTRUCTED VERY PLEASENT AND KNOWEDGABLE. THE INSTUCTOR PUT EVERYONE AT EASE AND HIS INSTUCTIONS WERE EASY TO FOLLOW.
The Glow Worm Caves are quite educational, especially for children. The guide who took us through explained to us the life cycle of the Glow Worm and explained that the light they emmited was to attract other insects for food, The cavern consists of two chambers that have stalagmites, stalactites and water features. The cost per child is six dollars and adults 12 dollars. I would advise if you are visiting as a large group to book ahead. I enjoyed the experience as did my family.
This shop is so special, you really get that Christmas feeling as soon as you walk in the door. There's everything you could ever need for Christmas in the way of decorations. There's Christmas stocking, Solar lights, Nativity sets,Tableware, and ornaments etc. It's a one stop shop if you're looking for that special something for the Christmas tree and there's no mistaking where it is, as there's a huge Father Christmas outside the shop.
