My husband and I regularly browse here. We both have bikes and are always interested in looking at other models and makes . We love the Enfields . This is probably the only dealer I know that doesn't put on the hard sell. That's why we always recommend them to our friends when looking for a new bike . There is quite a range considering the floor space . Service is always helpful and they are happy to share knowledge and give honest information. It is really refreshing to go into a motorcycle store without the attitude , we just love our bikes and riding and these guys do too. Highly recommended.

I remember stopping at this servo when I was a kid in our old Holden EH . The service is still the same personal old fashioned type that you only find in the odd country town . Years ago we were filling up on petrol from our trip down from Sydney and getting ice for our camping trip . Yes,they still sell ice by the block as well as the bag . I now live at Oak Flats and when in Kiama I like to drop by , to get some petrol ,which is put in for you and I reminisce and show my son what good oldfashioned service is . I really don't mind paying a bit extra , but I am only doing it occasionally . Otherwise I am afraid I am like everyone else and fill up wherever I find the cheapest price .

This review is for McKeon's Swim School, Towradgi NSW

My son learnt to swim with the Mckeon swim school. It was a fantastic experience and he remembers it fondly. Each child is assessed individually before starting. This means they are put in the right class. Groups are small and there is a real focus on a proper style being established. This sort of individualised teaching avoids bad habits . There is a big focus on safety and there is one class per term where the kids wear full clothing and practise what to do in different scenarios ,whether it is them in trouble or someone else needs their help. Individual classes are on offer as well as squad groups once your child develops their skills. I have seen the teachers working with kids with special needs and watched amazing bonds develop. Don't just drop your kids off toa lesson , go in and watch , they really develop faster with your encouragement and this is encouraged , quietly of course with a nod and a smile. I have seen kids terrified of water develop into confident swimmers . The annual carnivals are a hoot. You can't put a price on giving your children a skill and a sport that they can continue to do their whole lives . The McKeon family are not only sporting legends ,they run a great business with extremely high standards and provide an amazing service to the Illawarra .

Our hot water service was repaired on the same day , which I wasn't expecting. The service provided was prompt, friendly ,and professional . This was for our rental property so we were very pleased our tenants didn't have to go without hot water for long. We manage the property ourselves and my husband usually deals with tradespeople when needed. But , I was left with the job . Sometimes being a women I feel like I might get ripped off , when it comes to trades , I was proven wrong . Were not overcharged for labour and was very satisfied with final cost . If we need any further plumbing jobs done i wouldn't try anyone else .

This review is for Kai's Asian Take-Away, Oak Flats NSW

The best Asian takeaway in our area . Food is cooked to order ,a wide range of dishes , authentic meals. Serves are large , always extra left . Prices are what you would expect . Friendly , helpful staff . Heaps of parking and the local shops are open till around 8pm so you can pickup your milk, bread and extras , while waiting for your order . Have tried all of the other Asian takeaways , when we first moved into the area , big mistake . Don't bother with anywhere else go straight to Kai's.

This review is for Gala Cinemas, Warrawong NSW

A family run business , one of the few left operating . Reminds me a bit of cinemas in the country . While the theatres may not be as flash as the larger chains , the prices are cheaper . There drink and popcorn combos are reasonably priced and they don't seem to have a problem with you bringing your own which is the only way some families can afford to do it . Movies change regularly and often have one session in the day showing films that other cinemas aren't. Really friendly staff ,who will often ask if you enjoyed the film on your way out . This family are real film buffs. The person taking your ticket is often the owner .i think it is really important to support family run cinemas like this , there a dying breed . Check paper for special offers and discounts before dark .

Very pleased with my cut. I don't go to the hairdressers often a few times a year , I have really curly hair and am on a very tight budget . I colour my hair at home and some hairdressers can be very negative about it . I was made to feel very comfortable , I can't stand hairdressers with attitude . The staff are fashionable and gave me an up to date haircut that would last . They really listen to each clients requirements and everyone seemed happy. I have also taken my teenage son here to get a cut , sometimes barbers seem to do the one cut on everyone and he has become really fashion conscience and wanted a current style . For a couple of dollars more than a barber he got a great haircut, which is still looking good nearly 3 months on . There is a beauty therapist out the back that offers all the regular services . She seems really friendly and when I have been there her clients have walked out looking relaxed and happy. A really great local business , fashionable offering all services you would expect and better still , no attitude. Don't always need an appointment , try them out , and some weeks they offer $20 haircuts , can't complain about that.

Great day out for the whole family , lots to do for the adventurous and the little ones alike . They keep spending money on the park and the newest attraction is called ' the funnel web ' and is the biggest slide of its type in the Southern Hemisphere . Be sure to take covered in shoes for the toboggan and chairlift you must be wearing dry clothes for this . It is set into a hillside surrounded by bush and farms. Lockers are available for valuables . Take your own food if you have a family and we treat the kids to an ice cream at the end of the day . There are some picnic sheds and limited shaded areas so be sure to slip , slop , slap . Entry price is reasonable considering it is a full day out . Buy tickets online to avoid queuing at the entry . To many fun activities and wave pool to name . Checkout there website . My son has been to a popular water theme park on the Gold Coast and prefers Jamberoo. We go at least once a year . We are locals , but have had friends and family join us for the day and they have found it an easy drive from both western and southern Sydney. Great day out that you will remember for. Years to come.

This review is for Australian Reptile Park, Somersby NSW

This was the highlight of our holiday . Don't be put off by the name , there are also lots of other animals . The animals were all kept in really beautiful natural settings. There has been a lot of work put into the landscaping , spectacular. We went on a Saturday and although it was very busy , it never seemed overcrowded. There are different shows and animals ,with a focus of course on reptiles spread throughout the day , with plenty of time in between to look at the different enclosures and exhibits . The keepers are entertaining as well as being informative . They have reptiles here that you will not see anywhere else in Australia. For some reason on the day we went I got to see koalas like I have never seen before , even the keepers were surprised. They were swinging around , running around the enclosure , amazing , they were so excitable. There are opportunities to touch some of the animals and no hard pressure sell on photos. I really enjoyed the birds , particularly the owls and I loved the dingoes. There are kangaroos grazing , a peaceful bush walk, bbqs and a kiosk. We took our own food . There were lots of local and overseas visitors. The park also plays a vital role collecting venom for our hospitals and are involved in breeding programmes. One of the best animal parks I have ever been to. We had recently visited Taronga zoo in Sydney , and I would rate our experience here higher . Well worth the visit. Easy access for wheelchairs and strollers , great family day . Can't remember entry fee but, do remember being pleasantly surprised .

We booked a table ,which was a good idea . Very busy , but we ended up with a great table overlooking the tennis courts which were lit up full off active players. The buffet had a selection of salads , seafood , carvery, roast veggies, a large selection of Asian foods and a range of deserts . Free bread rolls , tea and coffee . My family really enjoyed our meals and thought it was good value . We probably ate too much and rolled out the door , but we were on holidays and it was our one meal out and treated ourselves . Price is cheaper for kids under 12 yrs . They do offer the buffet lunch on some lunchtimes and it is half the price . We did not see the lunchtime special advertised and if we had of we may have taken that option . If your a family on a budget like us , or have younger kids the lunchtime might be more suitable . Staff are great , make a call before you go to checkout any specials and book a table , saves any waiting around and request a table overlooking the tennis courts . Enjoy!
