Having read several blogs and seen pictures of the yummy creamy icecream, chocolates and seen them on postcards I was excited to go here and indulge in a chocolate fix.
Opened only a few months ago, the views are stunning.
They have white, milk, dark chocolate pastilles in big bowls and you just help yourself.
The milk and white were yummy, creamy.
They also have staff bringing out choclate covered ginger, rockea road out on trays for customers to try.
Since we went so close to easter they had one of the chocolatiers creating a giant chocolate bunny, various other easter chocolatey goodness.
They have all types of chocolate coated things including nougat, truffles, cararmels, freeze dried strawberries, licorice, peanut brittle etc.
They also have ice cream which they make on site that is very creamy, delicious and they have flavours other than chocolate.
There is also a cafe, toilets in the chocolaterie.
The cafe has an extensive menue made up of drinks (hot, cold) hot savoury food, many desserts.
The blueberries they were using on the desserts were the smallest blueberries I have ever seen.
You have to line up at the counter to order and pay for your food and they bring it out to you.
The desserts looked amazing
I ordered the triple chocolate mousse,
which was good but the white layer had grainy texture to it.
My friend ordered the waffles, berries, vanilla bean icecream,
which she thoroughly enjoyed.

Overall a wonderland of chocolatey goodness that has me drooling thinking about it.
We both left with lots of yummy goodies to take home with us.

I saw this place advertised to buy as a voucher for a 2 night stay for $150 i thought it would be lovely gift to take my mother for her birthday present as its a lovely area with lots to do.
We arrived and was greeted nicely by Jan (the owner), who was lovely, helpful, explained & directed us around the cottage.Breakfast provisions were plentiful, fresh.
The room they were going to give us was being renovated so we got upgraded to an even nicer cottage which was nice.air conditioner worked nicely & the cottage was clean.
The area is very nice,relaxing,quiet.
Overall a great place to stay.
I urge you to bring your bathers and go for a swim in the summer you may even hear & see some cockatoos, other creatures lurking about.
The stay for 2 nights would have cost us $253 per night & we got it for $150 for both nights (midweek stay)
Very accommodating great location nearby to wineries such as debortoli.
I would stay here again
Thank you Jan & Ron for your lovely hospitality.

After changing our minds several times as to where we would take our mother to celebrate her birthday we decided on The Graham.
We found a great review in the good food guide and saw pictures of the delectable food.
There were 6 of us I had made a booking (very necessary) as it is a small restaurant and was completely full (for a very good reason)
4 of us arrived together and we waited for 2 more of our party.
From the moment we walked in the service was top notch.
5/6 of us decided on the degustation menu. I looked at the menu several times before the night and didn't see they had a degustation menu but was glad they did.

The 8 courses we received were just amazing, incredible, delicious, some of the best food I have had.
The presentation was also stunning.
The only thing I can fault is I thought it was pretty warm in the restaurant (a bit too warm) as it was a hot, steamy evening. I kept asking them to turn up the air con.
The waitress could have smiled but in the end I got her to laugh. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Apparently it used to have a hat but doesn't anymore. I honestly don't know why they still don't.

I cannot wait to return.

I'm not into Indian cusine at all but I've been here a couple of times and picked up some take away from here too and enjoyed it.
I'd recommend eating here if you like indian cusine and you live not too far away.
The food is fresh and tasty.

have been here a couple of times the first time I was very impressed we tried about 6 of their macarons, a vanilla mascarpone with summer berries tart, (heaven) and a gorgeous pavalova roll.
Their macarons are not only tasty but have many creative, many that have asian inspired flavours. the owners were lovely and easy to talk to.

I found out they used to work at the renowned Rockpool Bar and Grill located inside crown casino and even made the cake we ordered for my brothers birthday which was one of the best cakes I have had the pleasure of eating.

The Next time I went to LuxBite I bought a 3 cakes to take home to the family, some macarons.
No one really enjoyed these 3 cakes or the macarons this time.
Hopefully it was just a once off.
I am keen to go back there at some point.

I love a good sandwhich and find myself craving them often and find that there aren't enough places in Melbourne that you can buy a good sandwhich from (unlike America)
which are not hard to find over there,Having heard rave reviews about Earl canteen and their crispy pork belly baguette from food bloggers I was keen to go.
So my fellow foodie friend and I decided to go and check it out for ourselves.
We got there Just as the lunch hour was dying down and ordered 1 pork belly baguette, and a slow cooked lamb baguette. to share so we cut them both in half and had a half of each.
The pork belly baguette was nice a bit small and too much overly crunchy baguette and not enough filling. The lamb was ok but probably wouldn't order it again. we ordered a chocolate, raspberry tart (extremely small in size) each i enjoyed mine and some macarons which were not as good as we thought they would be. My friend agreed with me and we were a little underwhelmed especially considering the overhype it recieved still we agreed if we were in the city for lunch and we weren't far we would go again.

I have been here several times now I chose this place to go after seeing Darren purchase on masterchef so my family who were gonna shout me and buy a few individual cakes for my birthday the cakes all looked so beautiful, delicious as well as the icecreams, chocolates and all the other goodies they have on offer.
The cakes they have on offer are incredible there are many elements & layers to them and look and taste heavenl. There is no place to sit though and you can't have coffee here ( I hope this changes sometime soon) They do have dessert evenings every couple of months which consist of several dessert courses, wines
The whole cakes are extremely reasonably priced. Top quality. Check it out for yourself you most likely will not be disappointed

Mum and I being starving dropped in for dinner we worried we wouldn't be able to get a table because we tried a few months ago and they were full.
Luckily for us there was a table available and we just had to vacate by 8.00 pm being that was only 6.00 we took the table.
I ordered a fruity flasher cocktail which consisted of Creme de Banana, Midori, Coconut Liqueur and Tropical Fruits.

Mum ordered her usual of diet coke (they only serve pepsi here) so she ordered a pepsi max and she sampled my cocktail which she thought was nice as did I.

Onto the food Mum and I kept saying that this place was exactly like taco bills which we also don't mind on occasion.
Still good nonetheless So for our food I ordered the
Fiesta Burrito which consisted of a flour tortilla filled with frijoles, cheese, beef (since I ordered the beef)
onions, carrots, capsicums, tomatoes and salsa. Topped with
cheese, guacamole and sour cream. You have a choice of beef, chicken, vegetarian Served with a taco and rice. I thought this dish was quite tasty and finished most of it the rest i took home. I really love the rice which is full of flavour I often find myself craving this but find I am unable to replicate it :(.
Mum ordered the Vegetarian Combination which consisted of a Bean enchilada, bean taco, mexican salad, rice and frijoles. The only difference with this restaurant and Taco Bills is we found that tacos bills mexican salad is nicer. As the dressing is tastier, crunchy (where as Nachos cantina's mexican salad basket was soggy.

After our mains we both ordered desserts each
Mum ordered the Flan De Queso
A rich and smooth cheesy custard topped with caramel and
served with whipped cream which was very tasty, sweet. I happily dug my spoon in.

I ordered the Avalanche which consisted of
Spearmint choc-ripple ice cream, chocolate mousse, coffee
liqueur and whipped cream and served in a tall parfait type glass and I was happy to share but I was very satisifed with my choice. Delicious.
Overall an enjoyable experience even though the chairs were very uncomfortable, some of the tables around us were very noisy.

Approximate cost: $25

A friend and I have wanted to try this restaurant for a while being that i don't like spicy food i was mainly interested in sticking to the european dishes We ordered the burata - delicious, crumbed lamb cutles with a green herb sauce - also very tasty, crispy fried spring roll with vietnamese mint (not to my liking) my friend ordered a fresh rice paper roll which she said she thought would be better than what it was.

We then had to move to the bar where we then ordered 2 separate dishes my friend ordered the blackened quail which she didn't particularly enjoy and I tried it and didn't like the taste either.
I ordered a cuttlefish salad which I also didn't particularly enjoy but was hungry so I finished more of it lots of parsley, didn't like the dressing and the grains they used

Then we both ordered desserts Which we both thoroughly enjoyed and thought they were the highlight my friend had the Coconut cream caramel with pineapple and I had a giandjua(chocolate) dessert.
Overall I think Coda is worth trying out sometime don't skip on dessert :)

I was excited to go here it was unique I had a voucher so I thought why not?
I went with two others I was keen on trying the ESPETADAS which is pieces of protien (choices of 2 types of beef steak (rump, eye fillet),chicken, lamb, kangaroo, rockling, barramundi, combo fish
so I ordered Lamb Espetada
Char grilled lamb backstrap on a skewer, served with our traditional Madeiran style
trinchado sauce, salad and your choice of chips, savoury rice or mashed potato - for $36.00 I chose to have mine with mashed potato. I did enjoy mine It did have a funny smell to it which I was concerned about but nethertheless ate it anyway. One other of my dining companions chose to have the fish espetada which she also enjoyed.

The other of my friends chose to have chips and garlic bread & have was satisfied.
2 of us ordered dessert and we were looking forward to it as I had great reviews of the portugese custard tarts (which I love) was a bit disappointed with it though was too sweet and I have had better. 2 tarts came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream
My friend ordered sticky date pudding which was served with butterscotch sauce, vanilla ice cream it was nice but I've tried hers before and it's even better. Overall not a bad place to go.
