Has a great range of goods at reasonable prices. Like most disposal stores tends to be a bit cluttered, but it is easily navigable, and the staff know where to find what you want.
Portland Bowling Club caters for both its members and visiting bowlers. Visiting bowlers are particularly welcome to join in social bowls. Probably the cheapest afternoon bowls in Australia, and they include afternoon tea. Great views over Portland Bay. Not bowling well - just enjoy the view.
Went there for a birthday. Three months notice given for function. Food service slow. Excuse given that only one chef and limited cooking facilities, unable to cope with the number of people requiring a meal on the night. Food when it arrived quite good. Price OK. Service by waiting staff very good. But the wait appalling.
David provides a great service. Emergencies are dealt with promptly. He will give a time frame for his ability to complete a job and I have found that it is always reliable. Charges are reasonable. But it is the service provided that is important.
Just love this shop. Really enjoy cooking Asian recipes, but used to have lots of trouble getting the ingredients in Portland. Been shopping here since it opened. Great range of ingredients and foods. Make sure you check out the price of items in main supermarkets as the prices in Mae Phen are very competitive and often cheaper. Support small local businesses and encourage their development.
Like all Aldi stores goods are displayed in aisle set out. Portland store a bit small, goods seem cluttered. Difficult to find items at times. Can have a long wait at cash registers. Surcharge for using credit card.
Large store with wide range of camping and travel equipment, clothing, footwear, and accessories. Two staff behind cash register, waited considerable time for any service/help. I fact it arrived just as we had decided to leave. Browsed store and found the items required at reasonable prices. Has the Ray's club membership for a small discount.
Love it. Opposite Woolworths. Great quality fruit and vegetables. Owned and run by a local. The type of business we need to support.
Really good in their service and the range of quality fruit and vegetables. Easily accessible. However, a little out of the CBD, but no problem in Portland.
Yeah!! Kokopelli's probably meets the expectations in Portland. Food is reasonable for the price as is the service. The question is 'Where does one go for a decent meal in Portland?'
