We recently hired a red carpet from Hubbard Party Hire Armidale, I found the service very friendly and helpful. I was able to arrange the hire via email as we were about 500km away at the time, they were able answer all of my questions and were very quick to respond.

The whole hire process was simple, we were able to walk in, pick up and walk out in just a few minutes.

The staff were very helpful and very friendly, the cost was very reasonable.

They offer a wide variety of wedding and party supplies for hire so drop in, call or email for your event today :)

Jackie offers her services as a civil marriage celebrant in the New England area of New South Wales also covering the Mid North Coast, the Hunter and Newcastle regions.

While we did not have Jackie do our wedding service as we had booked another celebrant we found her very friendly and helpful. She was able to offer us plenty of advice and I would gladly recommend her services.

We did have the pleasure of hiring Jackie and Derek's classic 1928 Chevrolet for our wedding transportation.

Derek arrived to pick up the bridal party with plenty of time to prepare, he was very friendly, knowledgeable and dressed very smartly. The car was clean and polished and dressed with the ribbon and flowers we supplied (although they do supply these unless you want something different)

We hired the car for about 4 hours, having Derek take us to the wedding ceremony, around to photograph locations and back to the reception. The cost was more than reasonable and the whole experience was exceptional!

Highly recommended!

We had the pleasure to have Jean as our marriage celebrant in November. We found her to be very friendly and very professional.

We worked with Jean mostly via email as we live about 500km away to create a wedding service which was just what we wanted. Jean was able to give us a lot of advice and things to consider while writing our ceremony.

Jean took care of all of the paper work and formalities which had everything run smoothly on the day.

Highly recommended!!

This review is for Black Rose Photography, Armidale NSW

Black Rose Photography claim "Creative, luxurious & elegant" I found them Creative yes but that's about all I would give them. I had a meeting with the photographer as I was looking for a wedding photographer and had it down to two... against my best judgement I thought I would give them ago as they were local and my other choice was not.

The other photographer had gave me a package to best suit my budget and I put it to Black Rose to match it, well they wouldn't match it but we figured with the added expense of having travel from the other photographer it would work out about the same cost anyways...

We got all the way to signing the contract when I asked if it was possible for us to purchase the copy right on the photos. While this is not standard for most photographers, most will make an agreement with you...

Well much to my surprise I was given a very abrupt answer that I should find another photographer because I was "being difficult and they could not cater to my needs" I was all ready to pay the deposit and move ahead with the agreement we had made... After this I did not contact them again as he was very rude to me and I did not feel comfortable with him in person.

I am glad that I was able to get my first choice of photographer for my wedding, I am more than happy with them and will soon be posting a review for them here as well.

A business I would steer clear of, when it's something as important as your wedding you want to be happy with it right from the start!

When ever in town I like to drop in here and have a nice cup of coffee and some times a bite to eat.

The Coffee Club Armidale offers a nice casual atmosphere, the service is generally always good and the quality is always great. It can take a while to get your order when it is busy but I've found it's worth the wait.

It's a nice break from the shopping. Because of it's convenient location you can walk in have a break and walk out and be back to the shops.

They also offer take-away, if your on the run!

Lynn offers a unique and custom service for handmade garments for brides looking for something a little different. Lynn's creations are inspired by Gothic, Gypsy, Fairy, Romantic, Medieval and all kinds of alternative.

She as a huge range of clothing for bridal and just casual wear. Her range includes veils and other bridal accessories.

Lynn made my wedding veil, I quiet liked some of the veils she had made but I was looking for something just a little bit different so I talked to Lynn and she was able to make the veil exactly how I wanted! I was thrilled with her service and the quality of her work!

If your looking for something alternative or maybe a little more traditional (as she does make more traditional style veils as well) drop into Lynn's website!

Very happy customer! Would highly recommend!

This review is for Gentlemen's Outfitters, Charlestown NSW

Looking for a suit for my fiance for our wedding we came across Gentlemen's Outtfitter's Charlestown, knowing they were the local stockists of Spurling formal wear.

I have to say I was a little disappointed by the service we received. We received good service from one of the salesmen "Chad", While another salemen was rather rude and unhelpful.

We went into the store knowing exactly what we wanted but when it came to ordering it they seemed some what confused about the process. We had to call the store several times to check on the status of the suit being told that it would be finished for the pick up time.

We went to pick up the suit and it was of a good standard though somewhat expressive. Given the suit was tailor made was a bit disappointed with the fit of the suit.

I think while the quality of what they sell is good but the general service and price is a real let down.

This review is for Paul Carruther's Manufacturing Jewellers, Newcastle NSW

The first thing you notice when you walk into Paul's showroom at The Junction is the beautiful decor, It is very stylish! The next thing you will notice is the friendly and welcoming atmosphere of Paul's team.

Our first experience with Paul's team was having a custom made one of a kind engagement ring made. After being messed around by another jeweler for several months we went searching for something closer to home which is when we found Paul.

We came in with an idea and pictures and were able to work with Paul for several months till our engagement ring was perfect, just what we were looking for.

After having a great experience we came back to have Paul create our wedding bands, again custom made one of a kind. Paul was able to create exactly what we wanted from a couple of short meetings .

As well as Engagement and Wedding Rings, Paul also offers other services such as cleaning, and restoration as well as a wide variety of Jewelery. While he was making our rings I also had Paul's team clean a bracelet and repair another ring for me and I was delighted with the service!

I had the pleasure of having Anette at Gallery Serpentine make my wedding dress, the service and quality were nothing less than 5 stars!

Living outside of Sydney I was able to make my order over email. For a few months I communicated with Anette getting fabric samples so I could make the right choices just for me... I got my measurements done and within 3 weeks Anette had my dress finished and at more door just perfect!

While some people would think it's a little expensive, $1000 for a custom made ensemble for a wedding dress I think is cheap given I've seen dresses over the rack and a lot less intricate... I think it was well worth it!

Just another 9 days and I'll be walking down the isle in it!

The have an amazing selection of Skirts, Corsets, Jackets, accessories and in a variety of colours, there is really something for everyone! They also have menswear.

It's every Goth Brides Dream!

Highly recommended!

I've been a customer of Zip-In several times now. It is a simple no frills shop family run business. Where the service is fantastic!

My first visit was just a simple hem job on a skirt than an alteration to my wedding dress and table runners.

The service is always the same very professional and very friendly.

You should allow about a week for you job to be completed, but it's always been worth the wait from my experience!
