I called this company looking for a cleaner for a short term job after our maternal and child health nurse suggested them. The call was put through to a sales girl and I explained my requirement. She told me the rates and the agency fee and asked me if I wanted to sign up so they could try to source a cleaner for me. I said yes, and she asked me for quite a number of details including asking for my husband's occupation but not mine. I thought this was a bit weird, and when I asked her about it she said that since I had a baby she'd just listed my occupation as "mum". Hmmm. At the end, after getting all my details she told me there was a fee (can't recall exactly how much, I think it was about $50) for them to sign me up. Since the total amount I was going to spend with them was about $200 for a couple of weeks cleaning I thought this was a bit too much, but what really annoyed me was that the girl did not tell me about the sign up fee when she asked me if I wanted to sign up. As a result of this experience I probably wont use this company in future.
