In addition, she is also flexible and understanding which contributes to her great service. Recently moved back to Melbourne & have had my nails done for passed 12 years with only 3 professional technicians ( Not the ones in the shopping centres) & I've tried the various nail coatings over the years, being the old 'gel' style, acrylic, & SNS nails done over the years. I am extremely hard on my nails as I am a glass artisan & I was finding my nails with the old gel & acrylic snapping off, sometimes not lasting 2-3 weeks. Did not enjoy SNS soaking in acetone & the weakening of my nail beds!!! 12 months ago I found Paola & so happy I have a kind, passionate, knowledgeable & professional beautician. Paola always keeps up to date with the top European techniques & I am over the moon with her introduction of "The Gel Bottle" brand she discovered & currently the only one using it Victoria! My nails last 4 weeks & never have a problem with breakages anymore. Paola did my nails for both my pre-wedding photograph shoot and for my wedding. She is extremely professional and competent in her approach to nail care. Paola qualified in Europe as a nail technician and has the knowledge and expertise to make your nails look absolutely beautiful, whilst keeping them healthy and strong. She uses products imported from Europe - she used 'The Gel Bottle' on me for my wedding and it lasted well over 3 weeks! I chose Paola as well because she finished my nails with beautiful Swarovski crystals for my wedding; she took her time and was patient and meticulous, which ensured my nails looked absolutely beautiful! I would recommend Paola to everyone!

I suffer rosacea and have very sensitive skin and was unable to tolerate normal waxing anymore. I was looking for an alternative for waxing and found Paola online. Body Sugaring has been excellent for my skin and I have had no irritation afterwards. Paola has also introduced me to skin products that have made a huge improvement with my rosacea which many people have complimented on how much better my skin is looking. Paola is always so friendly and professional and also has so much knowledge about skincare products which she is always updating. Absolutely!!! She is fantastic, friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable!! I was recommended to see Paola after my sister had such amazing results with her skin. When I saw Paola my skin was so bad, it was extremely sensitive, red, dehydrated and very sore and I was still getting breakouts!!! Paola began to treat me with the peeling velour and the Lydia Dainow p12 cream. The results have been incredible!! All the inflammation, dehydration and redness has completely gone!! My skin has never ever looked this good ever!!! Its shiny, clear, smooth and youthful looking!! I have has so many comments from people about it!! She has really fixed my skin and this was achieved by a few sessions of the peeling velour and its all completely natural which is the best! I highly recommend Paola's services in particular the peeling velour with the p12 cream such amazing results!! A big thank you to Paola!

I've been going to Paola for the past few months now and have seen amazing results! I get the sugaring method applied to my face, to remove dark facial hair. Not only is the hair finer, my skin is also lighter and my dark scars are clearing. I love that the method uses natural ingredients and no harsh chemicals. I've been to many beauty salons in the past and have some horror stories! From the wax being too hot or the threading just simples cuts the top of the hair, where as the sugaring removes the hair from the root. Paola is very professional and knowledgeable about her treatments and products, so you feel comfortable and at ease. Her salon is very clean and has a great atmosphere. Her prices are very affordable as well!

I was told about Paola by my cousin. I had been getting my eyebrows done at various places prior to seeing Paola and i wasnt overly happy. Since going to Paola, she has been amazing. Her standard of work and care is nothing short of excellent. I am so happy with my eyebrows now, they dont grow as quick and Paola's products allow me to have clean, fresh skin. At first I was unsure, but she explained every step and made me feel comfortable. After a few treatments my skin looks and feels better than it has in years . My daughter (13) and I had for our 1st visit last month with Paola... and what a wonderful experience! I have been a long time waxer/shaver but my daughter had suggested that we should try body sugaring. (She had only been waxed twice but didn't like it and then had to shave every 4 days). Paola was very gentle with her and explained what she was doing which put her at ease. It didn't hurt her at all and she is still smiling about the outcome. And from the results I was seeing I was excited for my turn... and it was more than expected. The whole process was relaxing and calming. I felt extremely pampered with the Hanra technique that Paola uses. We are both looking forward to our next hair removal appointments with Paola.... and so easy to just book online too :)

Paola - you are absolutely amazing at what you do!!! HANRA (Body sugaring) - I absolutely love it!!! I will never ever get a normal wax again, no ingrowns ever and lasts longer than a normal wax. FACIALS - my face broke out in extreme acne and Paola after a few facials mentioned the green peel, I was a little hesitant but it was the best thing I have ever done. My face is now acne free and so smooth and the compliments I get regarding my skin are amazing!!

I went to see Paola to have body sugaring done after being a waxer for years. I would be quite red and itchy after being waxed but the body sugaring is much milder on my skin and I have noticed the hair growth slowing down after only 3 sessions. There are less in grown hairs and I don't have to exfoliate constantly. Paola is great....very professional and delivers what she promises.

Waxing is a must for me as I have a hormonal disease that does cause slight extra growth under the chin area and I have bushy eyebrows but waxing was always very painful and something I hated. After leaving a waxing salon I still felt like my skin was being ripped off and the skin itself would be left red, swollen and very irritated for hours later. A friend at work told me about "tips and toes" and sugaring and encouraged me to try it. "It's pain free" she said. When I met Paola she was extremely professional and passionate about herwork and instantly made you feel welcome and relaxed. She also spent extra time with me helping me to understand the history and process of sugaring. I sat through one session and was honestly pain free - no redness, no swelling and no pain- I couldn't believe it (I was also surprised to find it was cheaper than what I had been paying for waxing). I would never do waxing again when I could get a sugar treatment, not suffering the pain was amazing. After a few sessions my re-growth was slower, hairs were thinner and some even grew back as pale white hair not black- I could not believe it. I really feel that "Tips and Toes" could have helped me with my problem if only I had seen her earlier- I am now moving overseas and hope that I can find sugaring. Please give it a go- one session is worth experiencing especially if you hurt or react after waxing or have difficult problem areas- I promise you will love it more than waxing and like me will be hooked.

I shaved for YEARS and the results were always uncomfortable and grew back within a day. I've been going to Paola for about 5 months now and the results are absolutely incredible!!! the hair is slow to grow back, is much finer and thiner, and it doesn't even hurt to be waxed anymore! The miracle oil she gives you is essential for the best results! SHE IS THE BEST AT WHAT SHE DOES AND I WILL NEVER GO TO ANYONE ELSE BUT PAOLA!

I have very sensitive skin & recently had a dry, itchy area around my eye. I tried different eye creams & even cortisone cream to clear it and relief the dryness, but nothing helped :( I talked to Paola about my skin and she recommended going back to basics. I used a cleanser, toner & moisturiser by Dr.Schrammek for 1 week and the results were jaw dropping! After years of trying waxing, shaving and hair removal cream, I've finally found an option where I'm always satisfied with the end result. Paola's sugaring technique progressively gets better and better the longer you do it. After years of waxing and being unhappy with the results I finally found body sugaring and Paola! Although I had vaguely heard about body sugaring before, I didn't know the difference between this and waxing. The technique used in sugaring is similar to waxing but because a sugar-based gel like material is used, the results are very different to waxing. Hair is pulled out from the roots and with each successive treatment, it thins out in texture and less of it appears. With only 4 treatments so far, I can already see good results! Paola is great with her service. She makes you feel comfortable and takes great care...making sure every last hair comes out! I know I am never going back to waxing. It's body sugaring all the way for me now!

I've had waxing in the past and have found it painful and that I always ended up with ingrowns. Sugaring is so different, it's still uncomfortable but much less so and you don't get ingrowns. Also, there is actually a change in the thickness of hair, because unlike waxing it gets at the root instead of just breaking the hair part way down. Paola is great, her shop is very clean, she makes you feel very comfortable and does an excellent job. I am so glad that I had a friend who pointed me her way.

Paola and her expertise in body sugaring is absolutely amazing! I have very sensitive skin and finding waxing almost unbearable, I also tried IPL with no success so I researched sugaring as an alternative and found Tips & Toes. After only two sessions hair growth has become fine and in some areas non existent. Time between sessions is also much longer than waxing. Tonight during my third session I almost fell asleep as the now much finer hair was being removed. If you are looking for a solution to body hair and skin problems, want someone who is passionate about their job as a beauty therapist, is not a fly by night shopping centre waxer. Then contact Paola she will change your thoughts on hair removal.

I went to Paola for an ingrown toenail, as I did not wont to face the normal treatment [cut out section of nail - painful recovery, etc and it does not work -past experience] from the first visit she had me pain free, no cutting or bleeding! 2nd visit and toe nail is now on the right path to been normal. Brilliant!!!! Also had to experience her facial treatments - one word 'blissful' you walk out feeling years younger, relaxed and my skin is looking terrific - the best facials, all natural products. Also the Hanra body sugering hair removal â€“ great! Paola is a lovely person, customer service 101%, she stocks a wonderful range of great products that work, her knowledge and caring attitude is ever present... I travel 2 hour round trip and whether it be for facials or painful ingrown toenails going to Tips & Toes is worth it.

My husband actually found Paola for me from a recommendation of a beauty training college. I was too scared to go to other salons due to poor hygiene standards. I go to Paola for a pedicure, and she is definitely one of the best. She has the latest innovative treatment for ingrown toe nails, and it is great.....non-invasive, not painful and with time allowing for the nail to grow again, a definite improvement to the problem. I've been to Paola for a back wax several times now and each time I've gotten better results! I was initially hesitant at first but am so glad I went ahead with it. I cannot recommend Paola enough to anyone in need of an amazing beauty experience, she is so professional and thorough in her work. I have been coming to Paola for over 2 years now, and the results are absolutely amazing! I get my kegs and eyebrows done by Paola's new body sugaring method and I've really noticed an incredible difference in hair growth, especially on my legs. Every time I visit Paola the hair grows back slower and thinner, and I now have patches on my legs with no hair at all! She is also absolutely fantastic with makeup. Coming to tips and toes has always been a pleasure, Paola is great at what she dose and I have felt so comfortable being there from my very first visit. My nails are always beautiful and it's always her creativity is amazing my nails are beautiful for up to 4 weeks !!!! I have lasted 5 weeks with them on and no chipping or breakage in that time. Her body suggering is amazing, 4 weeks it will last for and the hair growth has literally grown back so fine, that in time it won't grow back at all !!! Being on the day with no hair and no more razors or hot burning wax where I have been Burnt pretty bad before the suggering I almost went to sleep. Over all amazing work I don't know what I would do with out this women

I just had my second sugaring session with Paola after being recommended by a friend and I could not be more pleased. In the past I have put off waxing because it has always been a painful experience, not just at the time but for days after! Sugaring with Paola has been a great experience and I can honestly say I am looking forward to my next session. I experience very little pain the second time around, so much so that I almost fell asleep! I had no redness or spotting which usually lasts a couple of days when I get waxed. I also noticed my hair really thinned out and was especially patchy on my legs. She's also really reasonably priced for half leg, Brazilian, underarms and eyebrows.

I initially went to see Paola 8 months ago, on the recommendation of a trusted friend, to have my eyebrows tidied. Since wearing glasses my eyebrows had been neglected. I have been a client of Paola's for close to 7 years now. Before coming to see Paola, every 2 weeks I would need to get my acrylic nails refilled. My nails were in awful condition due to the harsh products that were used. Since seeing Paola, I have my gel nails refilled every 3-4 weeks and they look beautiful from day 1 to the day they need to be refilled. Paola is very knowledgeable, an expert in her field and always a professional. Paola works very hard to apply the right system to my nails (particularly considering how harsh I am on my nails with my horse riding). Paola offers a truly holistic beauty service. Her makeup application for special events is remarkable and in my experience lasts the whole day beautifully. Paola also offers a superior skin care consultation service and access to high quality products (at a reasonable price). I was very nervous but Paola was very reassuring. After going there a number of times I can't speak highly enough of the hair removal system. Even though the action is the same as waxing the result is fantastic as it doesn't hurt the skin. If I had wax on my lip it would take the skin off but not with the sugar based gel Paola uses. My hair on my face is becoming thinner and more sparse. I have my face, underarms, forearms, legs and bikini line done. I no longer have to cover my arms!! thank you paola

I come from a line of women who have gorgeous hair, the flip-side of which, is, unfortunately, a generous growth of facial, underarm and leg hair! Needless to say, I have tried a gamut of options, including threading, waxing, shaving (underarms and legs) and an epilator, all of which merely happily triggered more hair growth! A friend of mine told me about Paola and her unbelievable hair removal techniques and the amazing products she uses. I have sensitive skin and like most women have suffered from terrible ingrown hairs. The sugaring process really has resolved my ingrown hair issues and after one treatment only half of the hair on my body and face has grown back. Paola has also provided sound advice on how to care for my sensitive skin with value-for-money products whereby the texture of my skin is now refined and silky smooth to touch - amazing!! My feet are soooooo very soft and beautiful after one of her pedicures. She uses a little european machine and products that leave your feet feeling amazing!!! Paola really is a one stop beauty shop....her knowledge and skills in all things beauty are extensive; her hair removal technique means there is very little discomfort with an amazing long term hair reduction result; the products she uses are of a very high quality and are reasonably priced. I was recommended to Paola through a friend of mine to get my brazilian done. I was a little apprehensive as unfortunately I have had problems in the past with horrible Brazilians including burns to my skin and ingrown which were unsightly and would not seem to go away even months later. I was extremely embarrassed about the ingrown hairs and it was really taking a toll on my self esteem but at the same time I was afraid to go to another beautician out of fear that they would get worse. I ended up taking a chance and going to see Paola in the hopes that she would be able to help me. The most exciting & happiest experience so far, with a condition of facial hair I have had from a young age I have been through the ropes of all treatments out there and they have proved nothing compare to Hanra Body Sugaring. I am amazed at how effective the sugar waxing is!! Nowhere near as painful as the conventional method-I actually dozed off during it! The hair regrowth is softer and becomes less and less with each visit. No more in grown hairs and less time between visits. I would never ever go back to the old fashioned way of waxing again!!

I saw Paola for the first time in early May 2012, following the reviews on WOMO. I confess that too many positive reviews (e.g. 50+) leave me suspicious that tis merely a strategic marketing strategy so it helped that she had a good amount of positive reviews (20) without it seeming excessive. When I first spoke to Paola, I found her warm, professional and responsive; she was the same in person. Her clinic was immaculate and professional, and her welcome added warmth to what might otherwise have been a sterile environment. I found her to be engaging, and her time and useful tips were invaluable. I was especially impressed with the machinery used to buff and smooth my feet! Even though I do take care of my feet (as she pointed out), I found her work far superior to my amateur pedicures, and Paola made me feel comfortable and at ease, despite my initial self-consciousness. I shan't hesitate to return, and comfortably recommend her to others (and in fact did so recently to a shoe saleswoman!).

I have been seeing Paola for about a year and have always been highly satisfied with her service. She is friendly and has time to chat, never rushing. Her customer service is fantastic. Paola is up-to-date with current practices in beauty, retraining in Europe regularly. She has recently started sugar waxing, which I have found to be better than laser. Her prices are excellent - I had a full make up treatment recently for a wedding for approximately $30. All make up was supplied. I've had pedicures, body waxing and make up done by Paola and am booked in for a facial. I have been impressed with her service every time. Paola remains calm and friendly even in testing times, such as when I had to bring my two year old along. The extra touches to her service, such as walking you to the car, putting your shoes back on and always giving advice about products that work and are inexpensive, really make visiting Paola a pleasure.

Paola is not A beauty specialist, she is THE beauty specialist to see in Melbourne! I have seen her for body sugaring (eyebrows, legs), eyebrow tinting and her acrylic nail services. I have extremely sensitive skin and regular waxing is quite traumatic for it. I often stay red and patchy for 24 hours afterwards. However with Paola's body sugaring the redness and blotchiness disappears within maybe 2 hours, and I will be rash and irritation free! Paola has extremely refined skills with eyebrow shaping also. She tints my eyebrows then uses the sugaring to shape further. I am always taken aback with the beautiful job she does making me eyebrows look so great! Another service she provides is acrylic nails using ABC Nailstore products. Paola has been taught by some of the best nail artists in the world and her craftsmanship is so great that I don't need refills for up to 5 weeks! I will not see any other beautician as I know Paola provides the best quality services around. I constantly refer people to her and they always contact me thanking me for introducing them to such an awesome beauty therapist!

this is my first review, purely because i've never found a beautician like Paola... Paola has created a wonderful business in berwick, with amazing services. I have been to many waxing salons over the past 5 years and have realised that 15 minutes of pain from someone with a lack of care is not worth $50. I dont see Paola because her services are reasonably priced, i see her because she takes care and pride in her work. she has an incredible amount of knowlegde and is willing to work through any beauty issue you may have with great enthusiasm. she also makes you feel very comfortable and always takes her time rather than rushing you out in 15 minutes. Also the body sugaring is amazing. i would highly recommend it to people who find normal waxing painful, and who wish to permanently change or reduce their hair. i have spent over a thousand dollars on laser hair removal was not at all satisfied. sugaring is seriously the best ..thank god i found paola!!

I was introduced to Tips & Toes by a friend that was talking about one of the many services available, body sugaring. I was intrigued so I made an appointment for myself. And now I will never go back to waxing or using an emjoy. I was so sick of going to one of those in and out salons for a brazilian and coming out with wax every where and patches of hair that I would have to go home and remove myself. Body sugaring is amazing, it does take a little bit longer (not much) but the time is definitely worth the finished product. The procedure is a lot less painful than waxing (don't get me wrong it isn't pain free), I actually nearly fell asleep while Paola was sugaring my legs! The skin is so soft afterwards, there is no sticky left over wax any where and best of all Paola tells me that this technique eventually kills the hair follicle meaning no more hair. I was so happy when I met Paola as she noticed my on going skin problem (acne and blemishes) that I have tried so many products both medically & salon prescribed and had not yet had success with any brands. It has only been about 3 weeks since I started using the products that Paola has selected for my skin and I am already noticing a big difference. Along with the products I have purchased from Paola (at an amazing price!!) and the tips she has given me we hope to have my skin glowing for my wedding day later this year. The big difference and the reason I am trusting Paola to help with my skin is she actually cares and she wants the best outcome for her clients. After all there is no better advertising than word of mouth. Paola Flury is a professional through and through. Right away when you walk into her salon, which is the front of her house in Berwick, you feel calm and relaxed due to the white with black accent decor. Paola is originally from Switzerland, and all of her training has taken place there. She told me she regularly goes back to update and retrain as necessary. I went there last week for a pedicure and was thoroughly impressed with her professionalism and the work she did. Quite a different experience from the quick pedicures you get in the malls! She does quite a bit, not just manicures and pedicures. She also does facials, makeup, waxing and other things to beautify us. :) I am planning to get gel nails done by her next, just to compare to my local nail technician. I highly recommend her. For the record, her husband and my husband are classmates (all are from Switzerland--I'm not!) so I met her personally first before using her services. This has NOT influenced my experience however!
