For such a small shop they are crammed packed full of goodies. Great to stock up on lollies before you head into the movies. They have the standard range of goodies but also a few different things as well.

They have a hugh building in Thornlands with a range of produce including live chickens. You certainly can't fault their range. Prices are good and the staff are friendly. Lots of onsite parking and easy to get in and out.

These guys operate on both Russell and Macleay. They have been a long term business owner on Macleay. In the last couple of years they have had to complete with the mini supermarkets opening on both islands and so there quality has gone down a little. The staff though are always friendly and they do offer good products.

Always a great range of stuff at good prices. Its hard to find furniture and appliances on the island and it can be very expensive to bring things over from the mainland. Cash N Save offers a good variety at good prices to suit most budgets. They have some budget items and some more high quality stuff. Overall a good mix

Ed's been on the islands for a long time. There are many people who come to the islands and think they can sell real estate and sadly fail because they really don't understand the market. Ed has been an agent on the islands for a long long time as well as being an island resident. He knows the market and will give honest real advice.

As the only doctors surgery on the island its not bad. It can vary greatly with the doctors available at the time and they cannot seem to keep good doctors. It can be a bit hit and miss. The surgery however is always busy and it can be hard to get an appointment

I used these guys when one of my dogs hurt its leg. One operation and a few treatments later all was well. They offer a great service though like most vets where a little expensive.

These guys have been operating on the Bay Island for years. With two dogs I have regularly used them for the preventative tick shots that they offer. It has been the only thing I have found that is effective against the paralysis ticks which inhabit the islands. Good value and an excellent means of treatment.

These guys regularly service the islands and I have used them many times. In fact I'm not sure if anyone else actually does service the septic tanks and greasetraps on the islands? Great service though and reasonable price. The are regulars on the island so it is easy to book a time when they are there.

As an ex resident of Macleay Island I have used Bay Island Carriers many times. It can be a bit of a pain if you need stuff delivered from out of the Redland Bay area as you have to get it transported to Bay Island Carriers first and then they bring it to the islands. It can add significantly to the cost. As the main carrier for the islands they can and do charge what they want so it can be a little expensive at times. The service thought is prompt and goods are delivered when expected.
