I recently dropped into this place with my partner and the coffee/chai latte actually was well below standards and the cost was well over other places. It does not come up to scratch with the likes of Cibo and even McCafe, which is saying something about it.
This place is conveniently placed in West Lakes and compliments my shopping trip. I like it when they have their specials like to 500g of pasta for $10. The family really love the ravioli and say they are the best. That really means something coming from a fussy lot.
This place has been around for years and kept a family tradition of making fresh pasta. In it's heyday it ruled the roost as many restaurants would use their product, but now they have a lot of competition and they seem to have aged. Still the quality is great, but there is more choice around. I now frequent other fresh past places which are conveniently placed, whereas being on a busy Henley Beach Road makes it hard to get to
Have taken the family here a couple of times due to vouchers and found the dishes are ok, but not the best. For the price with vouchers it makes it an affordable meal with the family, but the quality of food seems to lack a little as a lot of the food seems to lack that extra bite.
I prefer Domino's over Pizza hut as it tends to use less oils and provides gluten free varieties. Again this pizza is not in the league of other authentic Pizza places, but is good value with coupons, and dominos allows you to order online, which makes it so convenient
I only buy pizza here with coupons and when dominos don't have a a special. The pizza is ok but is not like SAints pizza which is authenic, but for the cheap price with coupon it will keep the kids happy at least
KFC send out great value vouchers, and recently I requested certain chicken pieces and they kindly provided a majority of my request. Great take away at affordable price if you use the vouchers, which they allow you to continually use
The chicken is not as good as Top Charcoal Chicken in Findon as this is not charcoal but if you are tied for time and in the area late, it will do. I compare the supermarkets chickens in the same league
This is the creme de la creme for continental goods in
Adelaide, and well worth the trip if you are from the other side of town. HAs a great range of smallgood, cheeses, Italian imported goods, it is something else and haven't found anything like it before
This continental mini mart has been around for years. For a true continental flavour this shop that has it all ! IT depends a lot on the patronage of the church goers, and is a shop you go to when you need a continental speciality
