I LOVED the Quarry! Its worth the visit if you want a decent lunch or dinner. There aren't too many vineyards with restaurants attached in the area, so its worth a look at if you are in the region doing this sort of activity. I had their bangas and mash with caramelised onion marmalade, it was soooo yummy!

I highly recommend visiting Kilari Wines if you ever visit Cowra or the region in general. We were served by the owner who takes a lot of pride in their product. Ended up buying a good selection of their wines, and will definitely go back as I visit Cowra every year.

Went to Lupa not too long ago and had a good dining experience. The pizza was very good quality, and the service was also good. You cant make a booking so make sure you get there a bit earlier than anticipated so you can get a seat. Worth the visit.

If you want a cheaper dining experience at the hunter this place is hard to fault. The food is nothing short of fantastic. I had the sweet and sour pork and loved it! Definitely worth a visit!

On a recent trip to the hunter I booked this place for a nice dining experience whilst there. It was simply amazing, the service was second to none and the food was simply top notch. I had their oyster platter which is their speciality and it is definitely a must! Also had the lamb 3 ways which was divine. For dessert we had the platter for 2 which was faultless. Its a must try if you make your way to the hunter and want a good dining experience.

Went here at the end of the day on a recent trip to the hunter and absolutely loved it. It was the end of the day where you typically don't care for tasting any longer, but was very satisfied with their cav sav, it was simply fantastic. Also, have to try their dessert wine sticky pig!

This is easily my favourite winery in the Hunter. It is one of the only wineries in the Hunter to still pick the grapes by hand. I have been there every visit that I make for the last few years and it never fails to produce. Definitely try their Shiraz, its fantastic! Also, the sweet shiraz was simply amazing, they give it to you with chocolate and words cant describe how good it tastes!

Also got to meet the owner who is a great guy!

The food here is pretty good. I have been a few times now and have found it to be consistently ok. The main thing that makes the restaurant good is the service. I had the pumpkin and ricotta ravioli last weekend, and found it to be pretty decent.

I have been going there since I can ever remember! I spent all my later teens heading up there to get a pie and have a great drive up Macquarie Pass. You cant beat their pies, always a favourite, especially the potato pie and steak & mushroom.

Went there again over the weekend and had an egg and bacon roll. It was simply awesome! Always recommend this place to everyone who isn't a local to the Illawarra, its worth the drive.

I have stayed at the Ibis a few times since its inception and never had any problems with the Hotel. The rooms are clean and the staff are great. The pricing is in my opinion fair for what you get, and would definately stay there again. The restaurant is also great if you want a relaxed saturday night meal and is also well priced. Would have no problems recommending anyone to the Ibis in the gong.
