I have been walking past this little restaurant for years at the bottom of Westfield Parramatta until one day I stopped for their afternoon takeaway specials on the way to the train. Now I always stop whenever I am passing by and buy the afternoon takeaway special which is two takeaway containers of food (various curries and noodles available) plus container of rice for $10. The food is absolutely delicious, service quick and at that price very cheap for a delicious meal.

Approximate cost: $10

This review is for Pope Batteries, Blacktown NSW

The battery in my car had been playing up for a while and my father suggested going to Pope Batteries in Tattersall Rd Blacktown. When I got there I was helped by a very kind gentleman by the name Russell who told me that this business had been in his family for over 40 years!!! Russell removed the battery, tested it (found faulty). Offered me a new battery with a discount which he tested and then installed in my car. He also told me to bring it back anytime if I had a problem.
Pros: Service was great, Russell was very knowledgable about batteries/cars, price was really good.
Cons: the shop/workshop is very old and untidy

Approximate cost: $160.00

This review is for Oscar's Turkish Pide And Pizza, Doonside NSW

My friend recommended this little kebab/pizza place for some good take away. It took us a while to drive to Doonside but it was well worth it. We both ordered chicken kebabs which were overflowing with succulent meat ( and didn't have that pool of oil in the bottom of the bag), and a four seasons family pizza which was non-greasy and full of toppings. Service was fast and although there are chairs, they aren't very comfortable so this is definitely a Take-away more than a sit down cafe. Prices were fair, parking easy at the front and open till late.
Pros: great food, fast service, fair prices
Cons: need to eat it somewhere else

Approximate cost: $35

This review is for Belmonte Pizzeria Restaurant, Pennant Hills NSW

I have been going to this Pizzeria for the last 10 years. It is more expensive than most pizzerias so we go on special occasions, The dough is fresh and soft, the kids love watching then make the pizza base that they will eventually eat, the toppings are piled on and service is great.
Like: kids are entertained, tasty big pizzas, homely atmosphere.
Dislike: Parking sometimes a hassle, can get crowded and stuffy.

Approximate cost: $40

I wondered into the store looking for a new pair of glasses but unsure of what style to pick. The lady who helped me was great, she spent time picking several types and used a tablet on the wall to take my photo, hence showing me how other people would see me in the glasses. This was extremely helpful. She then recommend that I pick a second set because they were free under the current offer, so I also got a pair of sunglasses.
Great service, fast turn around, good prices and very polite.
