Nice little bakery in Corio Village. Larger sweets range than most other bakeries, and a few savories and obviously breads too. Occasionally the display area can get a tad sparse, so earlier in the day is the best time. I bought baklava (greek pastry/nut/sticky sweet)there, and it was the closest to my grandmas authentic baklava I have ever bought. Regular little deals available, and a small eating area. Worthy little bakery to check out.

Just had lunch here today, and I can fault the food AT ALL. My calamari was perfectly cooked and delicious, my children all enjoyed their meals (particularly the lasagne) and everyone else at the table loved their meals to the point of us all walking out complaining of overeating...lol. The meals are a little pricey, but then they come out and you realise there is no way you will eat that entire plate worth...it is huge! My children spent most of their time in the kids area which has games and slides and chockie machine and more. They had a ball in there! Staff were all cheerful and helpful, and they made sure we were all happy....which ALL of us were. There was a TAB and pokies, but we were all very happy staying in the large dining area eating and chatting while the kids were safely and noiselessly (soundproof glass?) beside us in the playroom.

Favourite place to get video games for the whole family. Sales all the time. If money is short, don't fret, they have second-hand games and consoles cheaper than anywhere else I have seen. They have everything from computer games to Wii U, and whatever consoles are coming next, they will have. Great staff here who try their hardest to help you. One even took the time to tell me how to install (step by step) an internal memory expansion for my ps3, rather than convince me to pay more for a plug-in one that doesn't work quite as well. Happily coming here again, and again, and again.

So nice to have this option amongst all the greasy foods at Westfield. Lovely hot soups, and I've enjoyed each of the salads I have tried. I love the option to make your own salad, but the price of each item can put you off a little. Sadly not much to grab the attention of my children, but I will have to keep trying.

Great group of hairdressers here. Helpful and friendly and very good at what they do. Price can be a tad scary sometimes, but it is worth it for getting a great style cut/colouring etc. Even when confronted with stubborn hair (my sisters old colour [blue] was refusing to come out) they work at it until they have achieved the best results! Fantastic range of hair products here, from shampoo to bright green hair dye, straighteners to wigs.

This review is for Donut King, Geelong VIC

We all know the Donut King range, so the basic flavourings is the same, but I have not been too impressed with this particular shop. Twice my children have wanted hotdogs and drink, but they had "run out" of hotdogs.....I have had a thickshake that was much more like a milkshake with half the flavouring....and the staff I have seen have not been super impressive.

Great concept here! Large range of different sweets and savories different from most other bakeries. The self serve option is fun and fast. Much cheaper than expected, and I love how light and fluffy all of the bread product is. Yum

This review is for Hi Sushi, Geelong VIC

Definitely one of the best places for sushi in Geelong! Oddly set out little restaurant, but you are well looked after, and the food is delicious. Their Gyoza is well priced and very authentic (my favourite!). I keep intending to try some of their noodle bowls and such, but I can rarely go past the sushi and gyoza. A little pricier than some, but the quality far exceeds any cheaper place.

My kids bribe me to get their school lunches from here instead of canteen! Cheese and ham danish square, cheesymite scroll and a bbq bonanza pizza....their order is imbedded permanently in my brain. Usually I grab this between 7 and 8am when the only workers are the bakers, and let me tell you now...they are GREAT! Always polite and helpful (despite how busy they are still cooking/packing). They have a large array of sweets and savories, but their plain square bread loaf is another family favourite (personally I could sit and just smell it all day[yummo]).

This review is for Gateway Hotel AYCES Bistro, Corio VIC

Only worthy all-you-can-eat place in Geelong. Yummy roasts, fish, soups, salad, chips, little cakes, ice-cream and more. Not 5 star gourmet, but you get more than your moneys worth. Cute kids play area with fun things for the kids to enjoy. Large dining area. Best to go when a bit busy, as the food is obviously changed a lot more often, but also nice to go on a weekday lunch time and enjoy the quiet. Its a hotel, so obviously these is also a bar and pokies etc too.
