This place is great when needing supplies for Rural Jobs, such as fencing, putting up sheds, tanks etc. They have a great range of building supplies a little dear at times compared with Bendigo only 20 kms away, but they are always happy to help out. They have pellets of dog food which is great and also carry a great range of livestock wormers, tags, collars etc.
Our experience with this service staion isn't good at all. Petrol is always 5 cents higher than other closeby stations, the owner is always on-edge that people are attempting to do a fuel up and drive off on her that twice in our experience has stopped our transaction to run out the door to learn that the driver was simply grabbing his wallet out the car to actally pay.. weird lady she is. As a result we not longer give her our business, we travel down the road where they are super friendly and prices are better.
This is a cute little store, with great friendly service.. and quite roomy when you step inside. They stock a great range of school attire as well as a nice variety of clothes for the whole family.. nice dresses from woman, shoes and even the occassional pair of shoes. They don't have much in the way of jeans etc. for small children, but enough variety to choose something that will look nice.. pretty little dresses for girls which is nice.
Recently made my first purchase from thsi store.. had walked past many a time and just window shopped, but a cute little money box in the shape of a horse took my 3yrs eye, so in we both hopped and purchased it. The lady inside was very friendly as you'd expect in a country store, the transaction was nice and pleasant.. will definetly go back for birthday gifts etc.
Approximate cost: $19.00
I've only ordered through them once.. but from that one time I can say it was lovely.. I got a fruit and nut mix picked out for me and send through the post. It was delicious but a little too dear to do as a regular thing.. nice to send as a treat for a friend or birthday etc. . No hassles with the order either so that so a good thing too.
this shop is nice and clean.. and owned by the company that run Paradise Pets, they offer a vet service which we used when we brought a female dog from paradise pets in werribee plaza, the service was great and the shop it's was nice and clean and very large, with heaps of things to lok around at.. they have fish upstairs and ponds etc.. it's a really well put together store.
Whilst living in the area we have visited this particular petshop a few times.. Once to buy a hessian replacement cover and the other time for some rabbit hay. Both times the pet shop was very smelly with heavily soiled bird cages and un-clean enclosures.. We just needed products un-related to that hygiene.. Prices weren't great either but I needed a quick product both times.
This used to be our regular vet clinic whilst we lived in the area. We at the time only had the one Male Dog.. they have great vet here and were great treating one of our Rabbits who needed to be put down. The only downfall is that their is always a wait even with a booked appointment time, this can make an edgy dog very hard to control, but apart from that they are a great clinic.
We have taken many Dogs and also recieved Sheep advice and medication prepared for collection in the past, less than 6 months ago.
However this has all changed now.. they do not do farm visits for single animals (we had a sheep that needed urgent assistance but no way to get her in).. previously we were able to get medcine done up and we can simply pick it up, this was based on the previous vet having seen our farm, they will not assist with a sick animal over the phone now.. that animal must be brought in no matter if you don't have anyway on getting it into the clinic... or unfortuntly in our case that animal had no option but to be made as comfortable as possible and quietly die.
Poor choice by this clinic resulted in our sheep dying yesterday.. they wouldn't come out for One lone Sheep.. disappointing for our poor girl. None of our dogs will be taken their now as Dr Neil is now gone.
Our experience was great at first, value for money and great service.. but then the second time we went back their was/still is staff that aren't happy working their and make this known in their attidude towards customers. We have also had black female hair found in our diced meat on two occassional and unfortunely it's a bit hard to ask the owner (female) to where a hairnet or at least a hat like all the staff are made to do including the husband (the other owner).. Overall Great Product, but service without a smile and also hair in meat is a huge let down.
