We have only been there for coffee, but we won't be back. It was fairly quite but the service was still poor, it was very slow and they forgot coffees off our order.
If you want a cheap meal out that's still tasty this is the place. All of the dishes i have tried have been good and great value for money. Service is always very quick too.

Its a bit of a seedy pub, but always busy and its convenient. The ribs are pretty good and reasonably priced.
The calamari and salads are better then most fish shops. It is nice and fresh, slightly more expensive then most though and the drinks are very overpriced.
Approximate cost: $10-15
A real country pub, with loads of character. The roadtrain burger is a must try, but make sure you have a healthy appetite when you go here, this burger has a 1.2 kg patty cooked to perfection. Free camping also avaliable.
Approximate cost: $15-30
The sort of place only the locals know about. They have a wide range of polish beers that you would be hard-pressed to find elsewhere and good-value hearty food. The highlight is always the polish meat markets every second friday, they have so many delicious cured polish meats to choose from
Approximate cost: $15
These guys have such a wide range of predominately European foods. I particularly love their cheese fridge, but you can always find some new delicacies to try and stock up on the ones that you can't find in supermarkets
Dont expect anything fancy, but the food here is good and different from the run of the mill restaurants. If you like it spicy though be sure to mention it to them, they have some nice African beers too and the guys are very friendly
Approximate cost: $15
Probably the best cafe on the moggill strip of Taringa but theres not much competition. This place has potential and their service is good but the coffee isn't great
The food here is terrific, i dont think its terribly traditional but who cares because it tastes great. Its also BYO with outdoor seating
