Have been many times for breakfast and everything is always good. Pleasant staff, fabulous food, great atmosphere. Wish there was something like it in Newcastle!

Have been a number of times for lunch. The food is consistantly fabulous and the service is out of this world. Other restaurants should use Paymasters as their benchmark - eating out in Newcastle would be much better for it!!

Was renovating my kitchen a needed a dishwasher, microwave and new gas cooktop. Never bought online before so was wary. Made email enquiries about particular brands/models and all replies were prompt. Spoke to a real person twice (they actually leave their name if they leave you a message and you get to speak to the same person!!). Unable to source some of my needs (neither could anyone else) but offered me a better model at a significantly reduced price.

Kitchen sink + plumbing and drainage repositioned - a very awkward job. Dishwasher and gas cooktop installed. "Wonky" toilet reset, leak fixed + new cistern installed.

Stone overlay applied to bench tops & splash backs, round edges squared off. Sink position changed. Cabinet removed and replaced with wine rack + cabinet for microwave & single dish drawer. A long time in the planning + some changes before getting started. Patient & helpful throughout.

Installed and moved a number of power points, disconnected an unused exhaust fan. In the process discovered emergency shut-off switch not working - came the following day as promised and replaced it.

Went to Silo for a work Christmas get-together. The service was poor right from the start - staff acted like they were doing us a favour by getting us a drink, then the beers were warm. They were politely sent back and replaced with cold ones. The problem arose when I went to settle the bill and they tried to charge us for the 4 beers we sent back - each of which were still full bottles. I queried this with one waitress and she waved over the girl who had served us and she backed up my story but then a guy intervened who seemed to be "in charge" and he grabbed the docked we'd been going over and said "they're to pay for all the drinks." He was rude, would not listen to me or my explanation and since we had reservations at a Thai restaurant close by, I paid up! That was almost two years ago and I've never been back. There was a rude and fairly obnoxious group next to us. Maybe he thought I was part of their group and wanted to make a point. Either way, it was very poor form, unfair and unprofessional!

I'm a regular customer. They are pleasant, polite and very professional. The place is immaculate. I've never had a bad experience and Marilyn is a perfect example of how to lead by example to keep the customers feeling important and satisfied.

Had a measure & quote for a shower screen & built in wardrobe. Installation booked for one week later. They called a couple of days before installation to reschedule - they forgot to order the shower screen. Postponed for a further week. Arrived on rescheduled day – shower screen too wide, wardrobe doors too tall. Wardrobe installation went ahead after bulkhead was cut back. Shower screen was reordered and install rescheduled for another week later. Installer arrived the following week but left part of the frame in the factory – rescheduled for following day. Job finally complete 31 days after initial order – service was promised within 7-10 days. I called them several times throughout this process at my own expense after the manager failed to return my calls - calls were STD as head office/factory is on Central Coast. A brief verbal apology was made on one occasion. I complained in writing at a later date and eventually a written apology was made. I also received a $50 gift card – a nice touch, but adequate service was all I wanted! I was on annual leave at the time and spent several of those precious days waiting for, or chasing North Coast Shower Screens.
